blair could be a smokey.. still only 24 i think. tremendous experience, played for NZ, ex-VC. premiership winner, played under craig bellamy and cameron smith.

Also the fact many of the forwards have commented (Woods in particular )on how he has been a tremendous help and leader He needs to be 100% better than last season

It very much depends on his form. If he doesn't show form he would be very lucky to be State Cup captain.

just saying he has the resume to be a captain.. his form and attitude in general are things you can only decide from out on the field.
