Theres really only two incidents that stick with me about him.
One v Canberra about 10 years ago in canberra, a very very bad forward pass against us which led to a try which cost us the game…..and the manly BS last year

Refs that laugh and joke with the opposition after penalising the other team is a very poor look which he allowed himself to be seen doing often - just wrong

His arrogance, him changing his name to rhyme with his surname, his spray tan...all tell a story about him...probably a decent bloke get to know him but I dunno.........

I hope the next ref to be given a shot at NRL level knows the rules inside and out and has a compulsory eye exam before putting a whistle in his mouth..

And doesnt have mates in the opposition teams….

apparently he got sacked in some junior footy gig on the central coast a few years back by the parents hahah

good riddance, by far the worst ref in the last 10 years.

Good riddance to Shayne Hayne …....... he would rate number 3 on my most disliked referee list ....... Number one is Greg Hartley, Number 2 is Stephen Clarke and Number 3 is Shayne Hayne (taking the place of Jack Danzey for those who can remember back that far).

Phil Bentham is the only decent Ref going around .
Adam Devcich is the most annoying for me , when he goes to the Video Ref takes an age to communicate to the video Ref .

The rest blow the pea out of the Whistle for nothing .
Phil Bentham cuts to the chase and no BS about him.
Bring him to the NRL

I'm guessing that would be Jared Maxwell.

Maybe not in recent times, but we used to call him Tiger Maxwell as he was very fair to the Tigers in the past..
