Pace and Boms

Every time a bom goes up towards Ryans wing or when he is playing fullback, i get that sinking feeling…. he needs some serious work and practise at catching because he barely ever contests them, i would rather he had a go instead of letting it bounce but he is far to inconsistent last week he took some screamers this week he looked shot. I hope he can get his act together as he can do some good things the best part of his game is dummy half running but for me he is to slow for a winger and nearly got shown up by Gordan in that scrum play.. I hope he can turn it around like Lote has but Sheens needs to give him a kick up the backside..

It looked like when one of the bombs went up it came down and hit him on the stomach and he didn't even go for it?!? :S

I think what he was trying to do is wait for a Titan to catch the ball and then tackle him coz the bomb was 20 m from try line. I am not a winger so I'm not sure what you would do in those circumstances.

yep. my main complaint is he seems scared. ryan has no confidence in jumping and challenging… hope it turns around soon!
