I think They could become the fourth side in the Four nations though

State of Origin should only ever be between NSW and QLD.
However as a curtain raiser you could have a series between island nations like Samoa, Tonga or Fiji. The more footy these nations play the better!

NO… State of Origin is between Queensland & the Scum South of the Border!

A Pacific Island Team would be great as an International Team... Most might think there is plenty of Islanders playing in the NRL & 20's, but you have to remember most of them were born and bred in Australia & New Zealand.

So the problem you face would be eligability and how do you stop Australia & New Zealand from stealing the good players?

Leave State of Origin as it is!!!

I think it would be a good idea for an islander team, during SOO, but dont stuff with the NSW QLD battle. I think it would happen of we every switch to representative weekends.

I'd like to see a North vs South Island curtain raiser. With the number of kiwi born players in the NRL i'd think it would be a worthwhile and plausible concept

Yeah I'm with you there AJ Maybe post season the winner of both Qld v NSW and Nth Island v Sth Island could play
