I think the man should be congratulated on his achievement.

While many degraded the guy on here many times for his misdemenours,it goes to show if you face up to your mistakes and have the want to do good in life,it can and will happen...well done Russ,I hope your an insiration to others going down the wrong track in life...

If only he could provide an additional evidence that he has changed, i.e. something like: embarrassed by his ‘money for nothing (read 2 mm per run’ efforts), Mr. Packer decided to refund the money paid to him by the WT in the last 2 years, he also decided to apologise to the fans.?

He had really bad injuries one of those ended up having surgery, thats why his form faultered,he is still valuable to this young team...Madge will decide how he uses him this year...as far as Im concerned he should be over most of his injuries and I expect Madge to decide his future, not you or I...I dont expect an apology from him,he was put on a contract by a coach who desserted him after recruiting him,got injured and is doing the best he can....

I think Packer will be in the 17 against the Raiders. Maguire had him come on early as replacement for the starting props against Manly and I think he wants experience replaced by some more experience.

He looked more involved than previous.

Ive seen improvements in Packer, but ultimately its in his hands. Im not a big believer in stats in Rugba leeg but in his case he needs to start pumping out metres. There really is no other metric that matters for him.

In a day and age where players get second, third and fourth chances and never change, this is a great story of one of the few that does.

Well done, mate.

How much have you refunded to your employer when you had a bludging sort of day?

I would think , nothing but you wouldn't have done that would you.
