Panthers v Dogs

Wasn't that impressed with Canterbury, tbh. Penrith were well below par and played like us - no attacking structure or set plays. They just threw the ball around ad lib hoping something would happen - it was frustrating to watch, like much of our season.

Very disappointing game for a semi.
Except Ennis missing out next week.
Souths deserve to win it after Friday nights effort.
One for the old school Redfern mob.

Penrith's injuries finally caught up with them. They did an awesome job to get as far as they did with how deep they had to dig into their depth.

Just shows how good Cleary is at identifying players for his first team and for depth. Given that they did bugger all with quality position near the Bulldogs try line and still only went down by six points doesn't bode well for the Dogs next week. If Souths move the ball they'll open the Dogs up, it could get embarrassing for them.

Must say I thought Lote was past it but it's good to see him find a new lease on life at Souths. Hopefully he can go out a grand final winner.
