Parramatta

Let's all pray that the Warriors turn up at Parra Stadium on Saturday night and give them a very rough tough match…..we need them to be flat again to have any chance of beating them the following Friday night.

We will be coming off a physical encounter with the Sharks and a very short turnaround.

If we are up against the Sharks by a good margin rest Farah, rest Galea and rest Gibbs for the final 20\. They are our keys to beating Parra IMO

I'm actually hoping the Eels will smash the Warriors at home (giving them a false sense of winning confidence ie. easy opponent, easy win at home). IMO complacency will set in.

Then come the following week against us, they'll panic at the SFS as we've had a good run there of late and we have already broken the 2004 hoodoo.

c'mon tiges!!!!

If that sort of thing did exist then why wouldnt they have it now after yesterday - get complacent next week - lose- then come out hard against us?

It doesnt work like that, it shouldnt with professional sports

I must admit I have an ulterior motive for seeing the Eels do well. Myself and a colleague at work who is an Eels fan have been eyeing this fixture off weeks. Since we spoke about going after work neither side has lost and it is shaping up as an absolute cracker!

well who knows, they might get their asses handed to them next week at home against a very bad team who can't even beat an egg, and come hard against us the following week - but if parramatta don't smash the warriors I would be very very surprised. The are expected to win - so they have some pressure to meet. On the same token we have the same scenario against the gummies (depending on how they go tonight).

I guess sometimes teams have a bad hangover after a great win and vice versa - eg. the broncos to smash the sharks tonight…..it's rugby league, anything can happen!

i would want us to win all three in the last three

but ill woudnt care about if we loss 1 of the 3

They are going well at the moment…but you cant take much from yesterdays game....the Knights have dead set tossed it in....but having said that, sorry boys me thinks they will do us :frowning:

the eels are in 12th place with 4 weeks to go.. who in their right mind would go on the bandwagon and say they can win it all??? the bandwagoners!! the Daily Telecrap loves the eels crapping on about them all over the place

Tell me about it. It's the Jared Hayne lovefest. All you hear is hayne this Hayne that. Please I hope the Tigers smash these pretenders.

if we beat sharks n parra, we are basically in the finals. a loss to para can see us go from 6th to 11th with other results going against us.
i am confident we can beat both.
lets hope we get a very strong pro-tigers crowd friday week at the sfs n scream the house down n help the boys lift 2 smash those eels.
