Maybe half the Tigers fans care, and they only care because Tigers are losing. That's not to say they care because "Pascoe should be around to help us stop losing", they care about these things only because they are sad about football in general and everything adds to the issue.
99% of other NRL fans don't care at all. The media mostly seems to not care, only Fox with their typical mud flinging.
It will be a non-story next week and arguably will have zero impact on the football results. Tigers get a win this weekend and it's even less significant.
So I struggle to see how it's a terrible perception. Most fans don't care what a club CEO is doing at any time of year.
