Newly crowned Super League champions Wigan announced on Monday that they have honoured departing Australian winger Pat Richards by naming a room at their training ground after him.
The 31-year-old ended an eight-year association with Wigan in Saturday's Grand Final victory over Warrington at Old Trafford, which completed a league and Challenge Cup double for the Warriors. He will return to Wests Tigers next year.
Richards bowed out with the final try in a 30-16 win, taking him above St Helens winger Ade Gardner into sixth place in the list of all-time Super League try-scorers with 147 touchdowns.
The Australia-born Ireland international then kicked his fifth goal of the match, meaning he ended his Wigan career with a huge haul of 2468 points from 224 matches.

"I'm very happy for Paddy. He's got a room at our training facility named after him," said Wigan man of the match Blake Green.
"Our video room is called the Pat Richards Room, so his legacy will be there forever. He holds a special place in the club's history and what a way for him to go out."
Richards, whose late father was born in Dublin, is due to represent Ireland in the forthcoming World Cup before returning to Sydney.
