To give you reference, i'm sure Lawrence would be on more than 200k for sure.
@tig_prmz said:numbers are useless, no one knows how much salary cap we got left, how much we are paying for his current contract, how much we are paying other centres/wingers, who else we could've bought for that price etc…. numbers as i always say are made up from media and other fans.
what we do know is that he MOST probably would've wanted to finish his career back in aus, for a team that he loves, for the mates he won a premiership under a coach highly regarded in the super league. we woulda been his one of the top choices, he wouldn't have been one of ours tbh. i do think whatever we paid him, must have been a bargain price.

"he wouldn't have been one of ours tbh"??
**So why did we buy him??**?

@tig_prmz said:even career wise.. he's accomplished a lot. man of steel, premierships (super league and nrl) and played for ireland.
for everyone, there is always a desire to finish where you started.

Similar to Lote, but I hope if he does turn out to be injury prone we don't keep resigning him…
How much is he costing?
i obviously dont know but i've heard figures of 200-250k which is a bargain if he can stay fit, in my opinion given his ability and experience/.

$200-$250 is not a bargain for any player.
With the increase in cap the average salary is $232k
The latest estimates on median salary is $160k (this is an estimate, but the official estimate) significantly lower than the average due to a few top heavy contracts tying up the large portions of the cap.
Players on $300k a year or more are generally stars and rep or near rep standard players.
before the cap rise the median salary was $120 something K, and outside the top few players in a squad and the rookies, the salaries are more tightly grouped and lower than public perception.

well i rate pat richards, so 200k is a good price for him. ESPECIALLY since the tigers are likely to have to pay over now that we're last.
