Given the change in first grade coach do you think Lambkin will survive without Sheens or will there be a flow on effect ?
Yes

Sorry T, yes to which option ?
I really hope we freshen things up at this level and take a good look at how we progress players through our senior pathways. I believe at a junior level with all our cubs programs we are well on track and offering those kids great opportunites to further their game.. However, utilising our best juniors beyond this and the disconnect between Flegg, Cup and NRL has been terrible.Given the change in first grade coach do you think Lambkin will survive without Sheens or will there be a flow on effect ?

Keep or kick ?
Ok thanks.Just feel he'll stay seems well connected due to his days at wests field sports high school.

Are we looking at the performance of the team or, the number of young players passing through the NSW Cup to the NRL team? To me the latter is far more important to WTs which survives on development. There might be a role for Lambkin within our pathways systems but not as coach of the reserves. The performances of our reserve grade sides have been terrible ever since Drinkwater left to play in the ESL. These players are important back up to the top side and should be coached by a quality coach. Maybe it's time to give Robbie Mears a promotion.
I agree player development is number one but if a team is poorly coached you'll not get development either. Generally players will develop in a good team, coached well. The quality teams usually have well-performed reserve grade teams. Are we looking at the performance of the team or, the number of young players passing through the NSW Cup to the NRL team? That is all true. In our case we just don't have the depth quality teams do so in a way our NSW Cup coach will always be up against it.I agree player development is number one but if a team is poorly coached you'll not get development either. I'm not sure Paws. A few years ago the Sharks were not much better than we are now. They slowly built and took a few of our discards along the way and now they are one of the top clubs and will stay that way for years to come. They have very good juniors and their reserve grade side (Newtown) is a very good side. If we manage ourselves well there' s no reason we can't reach similar heights. But the front office (Pascoe etc) is our biggest obstacle. Fix that and we're on our way. That is all true. Sharks have done well and a lot of work went into their Pathways system. Hopefully one of the main architects of that will agree to come to WTs. I agree if we can get our act together WTs will be a force.I'm not sure Paws. A few years ago the Sharks were not much better than we are now. thought he's still connected, if so ?no point upsetting himJust feel he'll stay seems well connected due to his days at wests field sports high school.
We had a good coach in reserve grade - Ben Gardiner - until the club moved him into a FG assistant, followed by showing him the door. Another bad decision by our Zurich Overlords. There might be a role for Lambkin within our pathways systems but not as coach of the reserves.
