22-0 at half time
warriors have a good kicking game via Jett Cleary. I think we are missing Lobby at the back who has been very strong over the last couple of weeks. Mason struggles in that position
Two tries from Warriors have been opportunistic (late kicks behind the line on Laulili’s wing) and hard to stop.
May and Makasini haven’t seen enough early ball as we try to play up the middle but have been fairly one out and easily picked off. Makasini has been good in defence - actually looks good at this level already.

We were given plenty of penalties and on each occasion Falls gets us maybe 10 meters upfield with rubbish touch finders.. surely someone else can take the penalty kicks for touch

Bad discipline has cost us in the 1st half.

Alot of effort though which is good

Kit been our best has been the only one that bent the line or looked effective. That’s about it so far.

Izaac has been terrible didn’t contest some high balls or when he does just simple mistakes even his runs haven’t been that effective today. Also defensively doesn’t stay on his man which resulted in the first try.

Our Hooker is ordinary picks wrong options and hits upper body defensively which sees him fall off a heap of tackles leaving us short in the line.

May and Makasini watch at half time - both not getting any decent ball so not effective.

- May basically doing whats needed except for a bad dropped ball at end of half time.
- Makasini like urgency and he did give Luke a sniff but Luke dropped it.

Why we persist with Mason at fullback does my head in! We have Luke L & Naden who are much better at the back. Plus the club needs to start giving Mason reps in the front line at 5/8 for his future development. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

Agree. More he plays there the more it’s clear he isn’t. His field position, ability to read plays and communication / setting defensive lines + high ball ability = not a fullback.

He is a good runner thats his strength.

Following on from my Mason rant, why the coaches select Lovodua over Bailey Hodges also is a 🤯 Sometimes I seriously question the IQ of our brains trust!
