Remember him as an assistant coach at the Tigers. Was a great player in his day. Condolences to his family and friends.

[Oscar Martinez]

He was an integral part of the Magpies revival under Warren Ryan playing from 91-98.
I spent many afternoons on the Campbelltown Hill (which in those days was like the colloseum, opposing teams hated playing there) watching Langers do his thing.
Really sad day, the bloke is far too young to be gone.

Terry Hill and now Langmack. Sad that its guys that are characters.

[Oscar Martinez]

Can I also take this opportunity to point out to anyone over 60 reading this that saunas and cold plunges are a really bad, risk packed idea if you're not 100% certain the that your vascular health is perfect.

This is getting serious my generation are dropping off the twig way too much. Will miss him but have some good memories of his playing both for Canterbury and more favourably for me anyway magpies. A damn good player.

61 is far too young to die. I feel for his family.

Sad news. A very talented player.

Classy player in all facets of the game, including the chirp
Great character.
RIP Langers

Devastated, Great bloke.

You were either Langers or Junior Pearce in the backyard in the 80s.

[Cultured_Bogan]

Shit thing about getting old is the things & people that made your childhood special die off. A few of the players running around when I was a lad are starting to shuffle off now 🙁

Vale Paul.

Poor bloke too too young. He was a ripper bloke loved to tell great yarns, and he did a lot of great work with mental health, he will be missed.

Same here, so many afternoons on the hill at Campbelltown watching him. I remember one huge win over Manly there, his celebration was front page of the SMH.

[Bellend]

Always approachable person when seen at games. 61 is not old.

Very sad. Condolences to his family and friends
