Payten and Schirnack out of Good Friday clash

I hope you people are joking mentioning Skandalis?

This is going to be one of hose years we we just keep losing players every week. Hope I am wrong but unless the injuries stop very soon we are finished this year.

And for those who think Payten is no loss, I sincerely hope Fulton is back this week otherwise we are stuffed defensively. It's funny that after all these years Payten is still underrated by our own fans. Like Gibbs, he does the little, critical things that not many people notice.

I'm amazed we're 3-3 with the amount of players we have out. If any other club was hit with the injuries we've sustained to key positions they'd be lucky to have won a game.

Sad news on Payten, was really looking forward to him taking the field this weekend and sticking it up all those clowns who wanted him to retire for one bad game.

Maybe if our "supercoach" didn't pick one of his famous light benches, Payten could have gotten a longer rest and may not have made those mistakes he did.

Payto knockers must be forgetting the talk before the Dragons semi lasdt yeat of our win/loss ratio when he isn't in the side…
And what happened in that game....
Payto has not been himself this year IMHO
Hopefully a couple weeks out gets him up to full strength!!
God knows we need him!!

Damn straight

Why????? Why???? Probably Hyland, Rociqa and Moors will get a run this weekend along with the other Schirnack, still dont think we will win though.

Watching Moors on the weekend I have my doubts he is fit enough or showing enough desire for an NRL performance. Maybe at lock.

Hyland has yet to earn his stripes in State Cup and I would prefer to see a Rhys Curran get a run in front of him. Big motor, can play anywhere in the pack and deceptively strong. Or Jase Schirnack as another option.

Hopefully Galloway and Woods return this week

Assuming Fults and Keithy are in…
I'd be going Trimarchi at 2nd Row... He did play in this side sporadically for 3 years!!
Fults at Lock
Bench: J.Schirnack/BMM, A.Woods, Miller and Fifita.
We CAN WIN with this side...
PROBLEM SOLVED

Im 1 of Todds biggest fans but I have had doubts with him this year. Wonder if he had the ankle injury in the closing minutes when he was trying to play the ball. :wtf

Might I suggest that anyone going to the game not have any beers until the team is announced!! They may have to call someone up from the crowd…

Didn't seem to hurt Trevor Cogger all those years ago

Been off all year Maxy!!
Somethings up with him….

In the pre-season wasn't there an article saying that he was carrying an injury that he would have to manage long term.
I think it was a knee injury, and he made reference to dean young and how he didn't train much during the week.

found it

could be the reason why he is a bit below par this year

I cant help but feel for someone like Nu Akeripa. He's been pushing for selection for a couple of years now, he reportedly had a great off season, but at the time we get skiddeld with injuries, he misses his chance because he's injured too. Its a real shame.

Josh Davis is another i feel for, he's been playing good enough football for a few years to get a run, but he wont…........and he's not even injured. Would love to see him at left centre, but surely he should at least be on the bench this week with his ability to play in the forwards and out wide????????? But i highly doubt it.

Davis and Everingham are certainly in consideration currently as are Clark and Matt Ryan

Ryan or Davis, both probley should be in the side by now along with akeripa
Curran btw i rated highly in u20s,dunno how hes going for balmain this year since we are never on tv anymore :S

We're in deep trouble if Galloway and Woods are not back this week.

I'd like to see Begovich get a run, I rate him the next in line after Woods and way above Roqica and Moors. However, he is untested in state cup or NRL.

BMM is at least tested at NRL… Woods had barely played half a dozen games in over a year and look how he went..
