Pearce may not face Tigers

daniel mortimer plays just like mitchell pearce imo. no biggie for them. although it may make our backs' job easier as with pearce they lose some kicking game. apart from that, no biggie.

Mortimer is the worse half in the comp bar none

and hopefully for wests-tigers he lines up in No 7 jersey on sunday. 😛ray:

mortimer is a defensive half just like pearce. both their attacking assets are taking the line on and offloading. for halfs, both their passing games are pretty bad. and as i said, pearce probably has a better kicking game, which they will miss. mortimer at least has potential, pearce though imo is the most over rated half bar none.

I would say Gareth Ellis, Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah are special. Wayne Pearce was a good player for many years. But find me a Wayne Pearce highlight reel that can match those three. Sure he was a machine in defence and lead with distinction, but did he ever win a premiership in a star studded team?

No.

Have the others? Yes.

Seriously, open my eyes to what Wayne Pearce did to be special. Is he special in the eyes if Bronco's supporters? Or Manly supporters? You have to be good to play for NSW + Australia, But apart from being a tackle machine and a leader of men, was he special because he did not eat fatty food? not drink beer and have a below average coaching record?

Seriously? why is he better than Gareth Ellis for example ??

Pearce is like his dad used to be. A good player who always gives 100% but nothing special.

You're the biggest troll on this forum.

To say Wayne Pearce was "nothing special" is ridiculous.

x2\. That's a contender for one of the most ridiculous comments this year.

Yeah nothing special players always represent NSW and Australia

Especially in an era when quality backrowers were floating around like Cleal ,Folkes ,Lindner ,Sironen ,Vautin ,Davidson etc etc etc

Runaway Creagh is a perfect example

Actually Happy theres been plenty.
Runaway Creagh
Buhrer
King
McManus
Turner

Just to name a few

Sorry GNR I was talking about second rowers and locks in Junior's Pearce's era I can tell you there were a heap of high quality locks and second rowers both from Qld and NSW in the early to mid 80's

Bit like now actually

afaik Wayne Pearce still owns the Cross Country running record at Leichhardt High School (Ibrox Park in his day)…that's gotta count for something

How does a 22 year get to speak with some kind of authority about a player he never actually watched play?

I've have morning farts more coherent then the stuff being said in here.
