Penrith salary cap rumour

Can Liddle play 80 minutes?

not yet. and probably not next year either.

Which is a problem. We always get dominated by the bigger packs having a hooker on the bench doesn't help things. Reynolds is good defensively, quick out of dummy half and good passing game. Getting Moylan seems like a no brainer.

I must be missing something with Liddle. People have been talking him up for years. He hasnt impressed me yet. I doubt he is seriously the first choice 9 for next year.

As for Moylan. He kills the play a lot at Penrith due to him trying too hard and hogging the ball a bit. Reynolds plays the same. If Cleary could control this he would bring the x factor. If not he would be an expensive anchor.

I don't know about Liddle either. I can see him playing about half a season in NRL next year and half in SC or injured.
He looks to be similar in skill and strength to Peter Wallace but it's taken Wallace a long tine to get to where he is. IMO Wallace is better than Peats and Liddle is a long way off being a seasoned pro, but will get there one day.

He'd be great, but… We have Lolohea, Brooks, Marshall, Gamble AND Reynolds all on the books next year. Who plays where? And I seriously oppose the idea of playing Reynolds at hooker. Players out of position is a real pet peeve of mine, seriously can't stand it.

Didn't Reynolds start his career #9?

He did, but he's a specialist #6\. There's probably a reason he still isn't playing dummy half.

Highly doubt Moylan will be at tigers next year. But if he did, you are dreaming if you think it would be anyone but Lolohea that would make way.

Moylan has a face you just want to punch , but he'd be a handy signing

HAHA….I heard he is thick as two bricks...nothing between the ears

He's not coming here to find a cure for cancer, just to play some decent footy. Last time I checked, you didn't need a degree for that.

Roosters will sign him for sure.

Absolutely! They must have some space left in that sombrero of theirs

Moylan will be a depth signing, they may even find a way of getting him in as a developing player.

He'll be a depth signing for the Rooters. In case Latrell Mitchell, Mick Gordon, Fergs, Tedesco call get injured.

I would say no to Moylan, simply because it reduces our chances of signing Nathan Cleary in the future… and I live in hope!
