Personal attacks and grandstanding

Why is there so much bulls#$t from some members on this forum? Most members post their thoughts and consider those of others with a level of respect. The banter factor is fine and a fun part of the experience but I am sick of trawling through pages of rubbish personal attacks to actually find some real thoughts and opinions - it takes too long. I come here to discuss the West Tigers, and so do most of you, but some members make reading and posting on this forum a chore. It should not be up to the moderators to control what is sometimes a group of bickering kids. (Note: there is also many great fans and some very knowledgeable contributors who keep me coming back nonetheless).

Ive been reading it lately and staying well away from the garbage. Its made me realise how silly i must look when i bicker with someone being immature. If someone wants to be unreasonable just because they disagree with u, your better off just ignoring them.

I find it so hard to believe that adults cant disagree with someones views without turning it into a war.
