Peter Roebuck Dies

I personally feel that all the rumour and innuendo about his past is better left under the carpet.

The man is now gone, and it is unfair that his name get dragged through the mud - especially when he has no right to reply.

Obviously reports about what happened that night, and the events that led to it are going to surface - that is fine - they are explanations for this tragic event. But in terms of people popping up and saying "Oh Peter did this, Peter liked these kind of relationships…" that is a big NO in my book.

Agree 100% and I think for the most part, the public have left that untouched. Obviously some people in the media are going to come out (Gus Worland from Triple M), but I think he will be remembered for his cricket knowledge.

grubby reporting and inuendo by sensationalists, prime example andrew bolt, who have little or no credibility whatsoever. when these media hacks are gone and long forgotten, hopefully sooner rather than later, peter roebucks legacy to cricket in the written form will live on.
