Petition to sack Jason Taylor

What absolute hysterical rubbish. Nobody on here knows what it takes to coach an NRL side, let alone the one that Taylor has been handed. I support JT and posting about his complexion, calling him childish names reflects on the poster much more than him.

A coach ranting and shouting at developing young players is a recipe for destroying their confidence for coming years which I believe will bring better results. Now just breathe into this brown paper bag and you'll feel much better.

JT has many faults, but his lack of ranting and raving is certainly not one of them.

Sacking him doesn't achieve anything. We just need to hope that he's learning as he's going and can get some serious improvement out of of the kids over the next 18 mths. His long term plan is absolutely what we need - whether or not he has the capability to carry it out is another thing.

The whole coaching & administration stuff ups go back to when Sheens was coach. I thought Potter was OK and I would prefer him to a pounce like Taylor. Seriously, I cant stand him as a person. The only thing that would redeem him to some degree would be having a good first season. That wont happen. We are more likely to get the Spoon this year.

Taylor does not have the cattle to drop under performing players, Ms Go said last week in her Q&A session that we are already over the cap for next season, so he is stuck with HIS top 25 players.
As for the Tigers players giving up, I was in the Knights rooms after a good win over the Titans on Saturday night and couldn't believe that they didn't sing the team song, they've given up too go figure

I watched the game and came away with what I expected to be honest,I backed the team at $6.00 and a mate gave me 12.5 start for $20.00,all in all supporting my team cost me 40.00..
Was I dirty on the result,no because I seen something's during the game that pleased me eg,Moses scoring a great try, both he and Brooks both saw what was infront of them and had a crack, the defense at times was very, very good albeit the soft tries that the Broncs scored frustrated me immensely. Those tries really were scored because of inexperienced youth and the experienced just weren't good enough to read the play..so should we get rid of Taylor…no if he can get some quality players to our club in which ever way he can,and the younger guys keep learning how the structure works this team and club will be a real force in the not to distant future..a number of times both Gould and Wally said what a great set of six the Tigers played,so there is hope that things are falling into place...
Getting rid of Taylor will inevitably cause more grief and harm to an already fragile environment, this is where we need that stability more than ever...How many times have we said give JT his three years and then judge him on that form..there were some good signs in yesterday's defeat, you have to take the blinkers off to notice them, they were promising..
Cherrington was very good as were some of the others that are still young..
I know we are staring a spoon straight down the barrel, however, and I know we have never had one in our short time as a JV,if we do end up with it,so what,as long as the short time pain ends up giving us a very long term gain..as my old coach told me once when we got the spoon in Group nine, don't worry son there's always next year and someone has to win it..
LETS END this squabble about Taylor and let him try and do some good in the coming weeks if he can with what he has...next offseason and next year may be a lot better..

Geez half of you guys on here are absolute muppetts, that have no idea, yeah lets sack Taylor when we have no money to pay him out good one.It wouldnt matter if Wayne Bennett was coach he wouldnt be doing much better with the squad of players we have at the moment. And while where at it lets drop Lovett ,Milone,Moses and all the rest you are calling for and replace them with WHO ? Ive watched plenty of the 20's and nsw cup and let me tell you there are no world beaters in there that are any better then the guys that are playing now.I keep hearing names thrown up like Seve , Heleta , Llhovave they aint first grade material either. Every time we start losing the fans call for the coaches head it happened to Sheens, Potter and now Taylor and you think it is the quick fix but how is that going for you. Am i happy with the situation of course not but sacking the coach will not fix anything. Until we have a major roster overhaul and get good quality tried and tested first graders to the club we are just all going to have to suck it up and support the club through this rough time and process for the next year or two. And if you can not handle that then there are 15 other clubs in the comp, see you later and dont let the door hit you's on the way out # WT4LIFE through thick and thin !

I call BS on the theory no other coach would get a different result from the players we have… 5 players out there yesterday have played for either Australia or New Zealand and another 4 have represented there country of heritage.

Yes we were up against a quality team yesterday, but 1 team had far greater enthusiasm. That enthusiasm was what won Brisbane those 50/50 chances, while we made poor errors and reads.

Anyway... Winning Starts Monday!

WHERE CAN I SIGN Taylor is a LOSER …Watto hit the nail on the head ..This rubbish about moving in the right direction ,and getting the small things right!! How can anyone seriously believe this crap . Bottom line where is this team on the ladder with 5 wins that right 5 wins all season ,well believe what you want but the sooner I see this guy out of the place the better!

Your comments are condescending BS. I am not hyperventilating about Taylor as coach, rather I am despairing of his lack of ability to convince me that he has any idea of how to make things better in the short term. These are sad and desperate days. Taylor is NOT a victim. His limitations as a head NRL coach are the reason for this thread, Get rid of him!!

We have problems before taylor was here. Taylor has not signed one player that he has wanted to form a squad, he was also forced to let 3 go in the pre-season.

He is trying his best with what is left.

The blatant truth is, some players in first grade shouldnt be there, but are there out of necessity.

We are really short another centre and backrower. Unfortunately our stocks just don't cut it atm.

If you were to throw any coach in there, they will have similar issues.

We cant sack the bloke 6 months into a 3 year deal.

Any coach deserves the chance to shape the roster and a second year to make real changes. But it seems like he wont get that chance at the Tigers. We cant sign anyone. So we are stuck with what he have. And he is not really getting much out of them at the minute so that is a real worry.

I have just been really disappointed in him so far. I was optimistic with him coming in. I don't want to write him off, times are tough here. I was not expecting top 8, but i was not expecting to come last. He has been a real disappointment

I think he come in with so many structures and stuff from the Chooks that looked so good. He didnt adapt to what he had here. Or has not found a way yet anyway. I have not called for his head and wont until mid next year if we are playing the same rubbish.

Oh, are you the one who started this crap thread? You know Jason Taylor doesn't have to convince you of anything; he is employed by the club who have expressed unconditional support for him through the chairperson. No, Taylor isn't a victim, he is our first grade coach and I support him but calling him childish names and poking fun at his appearance, as has been done ad nauseaum on this forum, is not constructive.

A petition to sack a coach - absolute puerile nonsense. Condescending? How could I respond any other way to such hysteria. As I said brown paper bag time.

You may glean from the above that I disagree with the subject of this thread, as is my right.

I vote NO!

Don't need this type of thread - it undermines the club and serves no purpose.

I tell you what undermines the club. Taylor and Marina Go taking pot shots at the past administrations, coaches and players.

I also wonder how many of you have ever seen this elsewhere. I work on projects. Every time a new project manager comes in they make out the project is a mess and they can fix it. Its just a game.

Potshots at the former administration is warranted ffs if these former drop kicks had not backloaded all these contracts we would not be in this mess today you FONK

Ah the haters, don't you just love them?

Glad to see true supporters finally calling out these dopes. They do nothing but undermine the club which is doing its best to correct the mistakes made by our previous admin.

Back into your parents basement people and see you in three years.

Yep see you in 3 years Col when hopefully we have a new coach who can lead us further than a few wooden spoons.

We can only go on current (late 2015) form and you have to admit that it doesn't exactly exude confidence.
