we had a genuine half back in matt head and we let him go.

Yeah to St George where he hardly got a run. Even Bennett knew that he wasn't the player he wanted. Unfortunately Head was never the same after his horror knee injuries. I think that we can put this one to bed.

IMO the dragons would look alot better with

A) Phil Gould said you can't manufacture a halfback - Clearly that is right I mean how bad are Thurston and Prince who were both 5/8s when they started

B) Benji had mental issues with playing halfback and also a crap 5/8 (Love the blokes effort but he isnt up to it - which he admits by going to the sharks as a hooker)

C) Benji played his best ever football at the end of the season and I put a lot of that down to the first half of the year at halfback
