I'll drink to that! Oh wait….I'll drink to anything

Didn't expect to see such good news when I came on here this arvo. We are heading in a new direction with these appointments - very happy

Get the Board right, and everything else follows. Little wonder we struggled for 15 years with only amateurs, (well meaning though they may have been), running the show. So congrats to all involved in this process. I have been one of our CEO's harshest critics, but it would seem his recommendations to the new Board have been on the mark.
Now for the extraneous matters such as getting our facilities up to standard. Looking good for the near future.

Yay.Finally some love for the G man.I am sick of supporting him all by myself.

Great news. The difference between Potter, who couldnt spell tactics, and Taylor will be stark.

Looking forward to the fresh change.

Agreed and I know I have a whole new lease of life.2015 membership here I come.

Don't know who Phil Moss is and I don't care what Gould thinks about him (as other posts have alluded to).

This is the first test of the new board and I only hope they've done a decent job. Time will tell.

As for Jason Taylor…?

I hope the season begins successfully or he'll be vilified here like Potter was.

Same old feelings of hope and expectation but have been there too many times before to feel excited or enthused at this stage.

That's what season 2014 has done to me. I hope the powers that be get that message

Most importantly Go, Mayer, Moss, Taylor and Farah.

Until I get a sense of something radically different to 2014 with greater accountabilities in place for individuals, I won't be renewing my platinum membership.

Moss and Taylor can start by punting Farah as captain and invite Galloway and Lawrence to look elsewhere. That would make me feel that real change is on the way!!

Taylor has always been a good tactician. It's his people skills that are sometimes lacking, but hopefully he's learnt his lessons. I'm sure he'll teach our young halves plenty.

Moss is the big signing, IMHO. Did a remarkable job at Penrith in trying circumstances.

In case anyone wants to read about him.

Makes me salivate at the thought. This sounds like a fantastic signing to me.

Now, now, Jerry - let's not get carried away. It's a long way short of love for the G man. Just fair dues.

dont worry boss, ive always been on mayers side.

got a bit fed up defending him as i knew id be shot down quite quickly with all the crap going on. but i have faith in him, hes the exact type of person the tigers and the nrl need. a businessman thats able to convert that expertise into success within rugby league.

So why has he left Penrith?

more money or maybe the chance to work with some great youngsters (although the penrith aren't short in that department either).

hell maybe he has a couple of friends at the club, or lives next to concord.

Considering he was working under Gould wouldn't this be a promotion?

Welcome to the club Phil … May you put some respect back and professionalism back in the club ... Something that has been lacking for far too long.
