So everyone is judging Mitch for being a pants man , and a lunatic on the turps ? Is that correct ? Would I want a guy like that dating my daughter ? Of course not . But are some of my best mates like that back in the day . Yep ! And many would say I was as bad if not worse.

To me , when you meet the right girl , all that stuff goes out the window , not to mention the desire to party . Some blokes get it at 18 (to me that’s absolutely crazy ), others at 35 , me I got it at 28 . I was hardly young . Geez some blokes and girls get it at 40plus.
If anything my late 20s was the most fertile ground , for that stuff .
It’s a drug that’s hard to give up , and would only be heightened to the max in a place like Newcastle , being the club captain .
It’s not like Jarryd or Jack , who haven’t worked out what the word no means .

I wonder if Jarryd or Jack had Junior as their Dad .....Junior Junior has got away with a lot really ......isn't this his 4th issue now

Yeah we have all partied hard growing up ...but many of us haven't had numerous issues with women ...I once misread a close friends intentions on the dance floor (back in the lambada days ) after my late Brother's wedding ...and I couldn't apologize enough

You’re supposed to wear pants at a wedding!

I used to hang out with a bloke in his 30s when I was 20, a work friend , who used to declare everything a pants off party after a certain amount of fun juice . Funny , yet pretty annoying .

You should have realised to get out earlier when you were the only friend he invited over

This confirms what everyone was saying about Mitch "Grub and low life".

Newcastle Knights star Mitchell Pearce's wedding has been cancelled after he allegedly sent racy text messages to a young female club employee.
Pearce was due to be married on Tuesday to partner Kristin Scott in Byron Bay, but a report in the Daily Telegraph, which has been confirmed by The Sydney Morning Herald, revealed the wedding has now been called off.

I spoke to a member of his family just last week who mentioned the wedding was being postponed because of the Covid bubble. K. Foran is his best man and couldn't make it to Byron Bay from the northern beaches, several others couldn't enter from Qld. The texting story is a beat up and the Telegraph have again shown just what a rag they are.

Why couldn't they enter from Qld - no restrictions on travel between QLD and Byron Bay.

A week or two ago, no-one knew what was going to happen. He postponed it at least a week ago and not because of a text message. The Tele have done a Women's Weekly on this and made up a story.

I must confess. I couldnt give a rats ring a ding ding about what players do in the off season. Whomis sexting who, who is in the wrong house, who got on the train and didnt pay a fare.

None of it is un the public interest. What it really is .... is just a way to keep the NRL in the papers and clickbait. It shows garbage journalists. Id be much more interested in positive stories about raising money for charity, doing other good stuff, some of the businesses they run themsleves, etc.

This negative stuff is equivalent to reality TV. Its just cheap unimaginative garbage. I wish it would stop.

I can't believe Fifita is just 20. Needs a lot of good people guiding him once you are earning what you are at 20.

Lol , no in the middle of a nightclub dance floor , LOL. There was always a fair few of us so it wasn’t “suddenly gay”. Not that there’s anything wrong with that lol

Or doing Penrith a favour by distancing them from him. Either way, a head scratcher.

The NRL has imposed a sanction of one month's suspension on Penrith Panthers player Brent Naden following the conclusion of anti-doping processes conducted by Sport Integrity Australia and the NRL.

Naden did not contest a Notice of Alleged Anti-Doping Rule Violation in relation to positive samples for Benzoylecgonine and Methylecgonine (metabolites of Cocaine) collected from him following the NRL Grand Final on 25 October 2020.

Having established that the ingestion of the cocaine was out-of-competition and not for performance enhancing purposes, Naden is sanctioned in accordance with new provisions of the incoming World Anti-Doping Code 2021 which permit a one-month period of ineligibility for qualifying athletes who also undertake an approved rehabilitation program. The sanction will come into effect on 1 January 2021 with the commencement of the new WADA Code.

In accordance with the WADA Code, Naden's one-month period of suspension is backdated to the date of his provisional suspension and he will be eligible to return to training and competition on 1 January 2021.

The sanction issued to Naden concerns the anti-doping breach only and any other related matters will be reviewed in the new year. The Panthers and the NRL will continue to provide support to Naden.

Would the tigers club or players ever get a retrospective penalty for anything?

I agree with the outrage so far, but the way I read it, they have so far merely applied the automatic WADA authorised sanction and are yet to apply NRL sanctions. I’ll be disappointed and shocked if he doesn’t miss at least 2 matches. Should be 4 actually to be the same as if this happened during a season

It's the old Sharkies "serve your time but don't miss a game" penalty. A few of their doped-up dopes wiped off a 6 month or so suspension in the offseason a few years back and barely missed a game. It's pathetic.

Looks like Turdberg left his "wet lettuce leaf" behind when he was tossed out.Sometime the NRL will make a stand in regards to standards of behaviour(Probably if its one of our players)
