He's from a golden-child club mate, that's why. NRL would've been reluctant to even give him that penalty....gotta keep Penrith up there with a chance of winning the comp. The club will pay his $35k fine no problem.
There is no difference what Korisau did to what Paul Vaughan did, why didn't he get 8 weeks? Joke of a competition has dropped the ball YET again.

They set a precedent after the Jai Arrow incident so didn't have a lot of choice.

Really they need to look at de-registering players for 12+ months for any future breaches given the risks to the entire competition. I'm sure the RLPA would complain about how unfair it all is though.
