Player Dramas - Saints

I just read that the St George club have received a club sanction from the NRL that they now have to re-sign Corey Norman for a further 3 years!

Brent Read suggesting Vaughn may have played his last game for drags

What a staggering fall from grace.

That's what happens when you believe the law does not apply to you.

Also, check with your next door neighbour to make sure she/he isn't a Sea Eagle supporter 🙂

Funniest thing I heard was Mark Piggy Riddell on the radio yesterday.

Apparently he lives directly across the road at Shell Harbour from the Italian Stallion.

Said he came home from radio commitments on Saturday night, saw nothing, heard nothing, knows nothing.

Watched the 2nd half of the footy in their TV area which is up stairs and at the back of their house and had no idea of anything going on.

If they ever do a re-make of Hogan's Heroes he's got to be a shoe in for the part of Sergeant Shultz.

Why do most Dragons' footballers live in Shellharbour?

Is this a quiz question Paws?
If it is I dunno...do you know? :slightly_smiling_face:

I wonder if it is written in the Dragons' contracts that players must live there Magpies! Logistically it is a much easier commute to Kogarah from the northern suburbs.

You ever been there?

Yes, It's a suburb you transit past on the way to the beautiful far south coast.

The northern suburbs of Wollongong - Bulli, Thirroul, Austinmer, Coledale and Woonona Beach are outstanding. The renovated pub at Clifton should just about be open 🙂

Dragons HQ is in the Gong. That’s why they all live there.

A reflection of NRL players generally. There is always the exception to the rule - but they don't care about the coach or the club when it comes down to it. They have got their heads stuck so far up their clackers it makes it hard to keep supporting the game. The sense of entitlement is sickening and they never fail to disappoint.

Long term will work out very well for Saints...Vaughan has a massive final year, backloaded, option for 800 or so. Massive overs and he has, obviously, taken up the option.

This may well allow them to sack him and fix their cap in an instant.

Vaughan the absolute true definition of a mental midget...hopefully no other club picks him up.

I would just like to thank the Saints boys for taking the heat away from us this week. It was a selfless act of brotherly love and I am truely moved.
Particular thanks to Paul Vaughan who has a heart the size of Texas and a brain resembling a house plant.

Curious how they came to the fine amounts for each individual.

Looks like Beale dogged a few of them.

Fines are based on their contract value

Vaughn is a repeat offender
De believes hid under the bed
Norman bolted from the scene left his wallet
Apparently not helpful with integrity unit
