Well it seems like their President, Clint Newton ( whose major claim to fame was breaking up years ago with Jennifer Hawkins) hasn’t actually released their issue/s so we don’t know.
He says it’s not about money but there is no formal log of claims to explain their decision.
So …,it’s a secret…., known only to key players and PVL/AA. Very mysterious !

I don’t blame the NRL for not giving the RLPA total control of the welfare money.

Absolutely. Clint should be thinking longer term.
He’s got a lot out of these negotiations for players and he has a seat at the table regarding distribution of welfare funds. He needs to walk away while he’s still seen in good light by players and NRL, then work at becoming a valued member of that welfare committee.
I can’t see this strike having a good outcome.
