Hey there guys, Just wanted to pop something into the pot for discussion.

Just saw the clip of the team recovery session on FoxSports News following the newcastle game and there was something that amazed me. Blake Ashford looked to be wearing a Philadelphia Flyers Ice Hockey baseball cap whilst talking about how the teams attitude needs to improve.

It might be just a small point, but I cant believe the club would allow them to promote anything other that the tigers brand. If the guys need to wear a hat after a pool session, wear a club one.

Its not surprising the attitude on the field stinks at the moment if the off field dicipline is allowed to slide.

Seriously is this the best you have????? I think most peoples attitude towards the club on here needs to be addressed as well. I know with positives comes negatives but go do ya winging elsewhere. Seriously do you support these guys or what??

LOL, Check out "Best buys" thread…
Some one whinging Matt Utai didn't make the list of Best Buys for 2011.

Red Wings are so much better than the flyers..

Aside from having an atrocious choice of NHL clubs, there's nothing wrong with him showing his support

hmm, next fan day may get Blake to sign my Red Wings Jersey.

it'll be a collectible!

Ok Micko…. first and formost. I was simply pointing out an observation, Not having a whinge as you so eliquently misspelled it. The club as a whole is a brand and an organisation. Club gear would be part of the uniform of that organisation. As a payed employee of said organisation, I thought it would have been there responsability to ensure they wear the uniform correctly everytime they are representing that organisation. Matches, Interviews, Club functions.

As previously stated in a post during this thread, Tahu was seen wearing a full panthers tracksuit out shopping....thus promoting the organisation he is still employed by in a city 250kms away.

Where was the media manager at the time of these interviews. Why didnt he/she step out and say "Hey guys, just pop this cap on for the interview" and hand them a tigers one? The media manager would have known that the media would be attending the pool recovery session, after all, they would have been the one telling the media where the session was.

Which dropped ball is more important to the club, the one 25m out from our own line playing St George in a preliminary final, or the one by the support staff who pisses off a sponsor because they dont feel the club is fully respecting thier financial contrabuition?

If simply things are allowed to slide here and there, how long is it until attention to detail from the players is slipping in bigger areas, such as attention to gameplans and defensive structure. Im not saying that this is the only reason, simply pointing out an observation that could be a symptem of a wider, deeper problem.

Its an opinion mate.... something that I, and everyone else that has registered to this site has the right to express

as for you call as to wether or not i really support this team, my member number is 2160461 for seaon 2011, whats yours?

I saw Benji yesterday and he was wearing street gear, just like any other person.

Now if he was wearing WT gear it would certainly draw attention to him, which I'm sure he doesn't need or want…

I don't see nurses wearing their uniforms outside the hospitals...(although I wish they did!!)...

i think there are important issues to be concerned about atm instead of a player wearing a bloody ice hockey cap during an impromtu interview.Seriously.

Many players for many clubs do similar things, I've seen Hayne and Jennings (I think it was Jennings from memory) in NBA gear, I've seen roosters when in a team wearing alternative clothing to their clubs uniforms, and more…

They can wear what they like to and from training, it isn't a school yard. Media Interviews (scheduled), TV Shows e.g. Footy Show, Post Match and Formal Functions ok certainly wear your prescribed outfit.

Yeah most of the boys wear major league baseball caps.
Red sox, Yankees, Dodgers, etc.
Not a big deal, it's called fashion.
