Players in the spotlight

Humble…thought he was ok. One glaring error but i think we cant read too much into it as it was such a simple drop ball...just one of those mistakes every player makes once. He looked better when he came back on and didnt play fullback. Not sure where he was playing, but he took on a ball playing role and looked better.

Utai..well like last week, for what he does he does good...but for what a winger does, well....he just shouldnt be there

Moltzen...his defence was simply outstanding, which is good....but we need an actual halfback.

Lawrence....Looked sharper than last week but still well below best

Young frontrowers, Woods and Groat...have to be proud. Both did well and was probably Groats best game

BMM and Moors...its all about attitude for these 2\. They both have all the talent in the world and tonight they both brought the right attitude...i thought they were outstanding

Reddy....besides the poor dropped ball at the end he did well. Not sure where he fits in, i struggle to find a place for him, but he did well.

I think that is a pretty good summary Sirro. Hard not to be pretty upset with the Humble fumble though because that probably turned the game.

Wholeheartedly agree with all that.

Ayshford showed us his best in the last 15 minutes too. He hasn't been getting early ball which he favours. Now that Farah and Marshall are reminded of this watch him improve. He has a fantastic right foot jink and straighten and whether he chooses to put the foot down or turn it inside he ALWAYS creates something. Whether it be 30 metres more than a hit up or a clean break or a try, he needs to be given the early ball more.

The Tigers seem to have forgotten their strengths. Neither Lawrence or Ayshford have been receiving the kind of ball they enjoy. In fact it's almost been backwards. Lawrence likes receiving it on the fly at the line, and Ayshford likes receiving it about 10 metres in front of the defensive line.

+2

i think we've really struggle to get our centres involved in an attacking sense so far.

Lawrence was very strong in defence aside from the cherry evans try.

Our forwards played well tonight, all the young boys stood up! Also did anyone notice how many tackles fulton was involved in in the first (maybe second) set of six he was on the paddock for? I'm sure i counted 5 in a row and hit the kicker on the last.
