PLENTY TO LIKE ABOUT LEICHHATIGER FOR ROBBIE FARAH

Wests Tigers hooker Robbie Farah says hiding himself in the kitchen at his Leichhatiger Restaurant is a perfect escape for him from the pressures of the NRL.

As team captain, Farah not only has the pressure of leading by example each week on the field but also has many off field club commitments from marketing to media.

He says Leichhatiger allows him to relax.

“The restaurant is going well. I enjoy spending my spare time there and it helps takes my mind off rugby league for a while,’’ Farah said.

“I have a very good team around me at the restaurant and they know that my main priority is my football so it has become a very good balance for me.

“Since we re-launched the name to LeichhaTiger, there has been plenty of interest in the restaurant. I would like to thank the Wests Tigers supporters who have made the effort to eat there. It is not just local people either.

"I have had people fly from interstate or drive long distances to celebrate a special occasion at LeichhaTiger just because they love Wests Tigers.

“I really appreciate their support. It is always good to see Tigers fans there.”

Farah added Leichhatiger Restaurant had become a ‘second home’ for many Wests Tigers fans to watch the Telstra Premiership matches, especially on the Mad Monday and Mad Friday night themes.

“There are $10 pizza specials from 6pm on Monday nights and we have a pick the score sweepstake where patrons can win a $50 bar tab,’’ Farah added.

“Mad Friday features entertainment with DJs and of course, we show both games on the indoor/outdoor big screens.

“We also will be showing the State of Origin matches live. No offence to my customers but I am planning to be out on the field for the Blues when those matches are on. I'm sure they would understand.”

Lol, Fair call…
Real Indian food is nothing like the stuff at the local take away.
I spoke to the owner of my local Indian joint and she said Butter Chicken is for the westerners, I also read it originated in South Asia and the UK.

I'm a massive rice fan and can't speak highly of it enough, I try to encorporate it into my diet as much as possible and I believe why some asians live so long is because of their diet (Chicken+Rice, Fish+Rice, Beef+Rice combos) However, not a fan at all of Chinese take away. I LOVE gang dang, green curry from the Thai joint though.

Pizza has its ups and downs. Love a good home made pizza or from a proper pizzeria but Dominos and Pizza Hut are pure garbage. Steak is great man, love some diane sauce on it - full of protein and taste delicious !

That is my $0.02, lol.... A good diet is important to health and well being.
