Points for and against.

So far, although its only 5 rounds in, we're averaging around 29 per game. I think in '05 we averaged around 24-26\. The nearest to us is the dogs with around 23\. If these numbers remain reasonably constant, we'll win a whole lot more than we lose and finals will be a formality. No doubt the against needs work though. Especially in the last 15 minutes of games. Oh, and the siren working might help a little too.

agreed… the fact we are scoring an average of 4 tries per game is a vast improvement on last year.

The difference isn't really important at this stage of the year... We are currently running 2nd in the Comp and if we improve throughout the year with our defence, it will be in a good position.

Agree with Watto. It's also great to see we're putting substantial points on against better defending teams like Manly and Souths. People say about them 'ah well, we were just off our game today and didn't complete, blah blah blah.' But the fact is it's our defence and pressure causing that, and our attack closing them out. So the Tigers should get full praise for those performances.

I worry more about the less noted teams than the bigger teams. We always seem to show up against teams like Manly, Souths, Roosters and the Storm. I hold a greater fear of loss against the Warriors, Raiders, Eels, Titans, etc.
