Does Julia drive a Ford Falcon?

Hopefully a Territory Watto

One of the Territory's that has the back doors fly open when you round a corner

Bloke I know has a Territory work vehicle and at the moment breaks down within 3 hours every trip Then it takes Ford over a week to fix it for it to do the same thing again

One major problem with that

The area he works is 6 hours end to end

Serves you right for being a Cowboys supporter I say  Hope you choke on ya victory tonight

Bloody hell, Pauline Hanson's back! She's reminds me of one of those sticky flies that you can't get rid of and it never leaves you alone. How come all the weirdo pollies come from Queensland? First we had Joh bonkers-bananas, then the red-headed clown that keeps returning and now some eccentric, with too much time and money, named Palmer reckons he's gonna become the next PM lol. Too many pumpkin scones? or are they all just deluded up there? Happy? Stryker? Watto? Anyone?

The idea Flip is we let all these loons loose in the hope that all you Mexicans won't keep flooding over the border and becoming wanna be Qlders

Have you seen Clive's ads Flip? For one of Australia's richest men they're pretty average. Looks like someone from Community TV put it together

Space cadet is right, CB. Just like Joh, which means he'll no doubt win over Queensland

No haven't had the displeasure of seeing one of his TV ads yet, Yoss, only read stuff. So far, I've managed to avoid them, but I'm sure as the election gets closer, we'll all be bombarded with his ugly mug on our screens, making it impossible to avoid them any longer. What I can't believe is that Glen Lazarus has aligned himself with Palmer's party - I credited him with more sense. Old Clive must be paying him some big bucks so he can have a credible public face to his campaign.

You're right Happy, the thought of ending up like one of these loonies is deterrent enough to any sane New South Welshman venturing past Tweed Heads for any longer than 2 weeks

Well, Happy Tiger, maybe you should take just as much time to explain how an Abbott/Joyce govt will be better? C'mon now…...don't be shy. Tell us all now what exactly you know about the policies of this appalling bunch of wannabes that you think will be good for this country.

An election is, effectively, a two-cornered contest and you have dismissed one corner on here. So tell us all what the other corner will offer, with evidence from what is in the public domain at the moment. Julia Gillard is the Robbie Farah of the Labor government. A brave, strong, resilient, determined and committed leader of a team that has delivered some great results but leads a team that sometimes doesn't reach the talents of its leader.

Abbott, on the other hand, is a Jamie Soward type. A guy who uses his limited talents to bring about some glory, but inevitably goes missing when it really matters. The show pony, fake, self-centred, loose cannon who believes more in his entitlement to be respected than his deeds deserve.

I cannot believe that any intelligent, reasonable, informed and empathetic Australian (and even some, but not many, Queenslanders) could in any way at all prefer Abbott as PM than Julia Gillard.

An Abbott led government (with Pyne, Brandis, Bishop, Hockey, Morrison et al beholding to the Murdochs, Rineharts, Alan Jones', Ray Hadleys of this world) will be the WORST possible outcome foir this country from events on Sept 14.

I look forward to your reply.

Add Monckton to the list and this country's collective IQ relative to the rest of the planet will give Tigers fans a second wooden spoon for the year…

I forgot that Monckton guy….The Labor Party campaign should explicitly align Abbott with those that support him. Alan Jones (does his best work in London toilets), Ray Hadley (serial thug and bully), Gina Rienhardt (give me cheaper labour Tony so I can increase my wealth....which I will deny to my offspring ...WTF??), Rupert Murdoch (cretinous, lying, despicable tyrant who allows the deceased to be used for selling his newspapers)....the opportunities are endless.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/jun/04/abbotts-tree-planting-plan-climate

The federal Coalition’s policy of planting millions of new trees will do little to offset Australia’s carbon dioxide emissions, a study by leading climate change scientists has found.
>
The report warns that an absence of significant cuts to fossil fuel emissions would undermine any attempt to store carbon in trees and soils.

I know a certain percentage of Liberal supporters are in the 'climate change is a hoax' bandwagon (hopefully not too many)

I wonder how those not in that group can keep a straight face when discussing climate policy

Yep, the country that died neither by the pen nor the sword but the contemporary genius that is the pick and shovel…

Anyone seen this video?

You can't deny Gillard is hopeless, but is this bible bashing misogynist really a better option? If the Libs get voted in, i give him 12 months before someone in the party (preferably Turnbull) challenges him and wins. I challenge anyone to watch the last minute and still say this clown is capable of running the country.

There's a thousand videos of Abbott acting like a goose, nobody seems to care if the polls are to be believed

I just hope people treat him the same when he is PM and starts doing a terrible job (a case of when not if) Apparently it's fine to call the PM what you want, cast aspersions on their sexuality, throw food at them, whatever

GNR4LIFE….I DO deny Julia Gillard is hopeless. I think she is a terrific Prime Minister. Please elaborate on here about why you feel she is "hopeless".

I'm pretty confident he will get treated horribly just like every successful pm ever. It suits the media and the fat cats to have pollies in power that are hated. Rudd's folly was being liked.

God help us indeed Mr Keating. At least We have the Great Dividing Range to underwrite the coalition's climate policy. Future photos of Tony in his budgy smugglers will be outside the Blue Mountains Surf Life Saving Club. Proud founder of the lowest ever common denominator.

Au contraire mon fraire, I don't think Abbott will get anywhere near the flak and degrading insults and treatment that Gillard has had to endure, even if/when he does stuff up. The media has always been biased towards the Libs and our culture, on the whole, clearly still cannot accept the idea of a woman in the top job.

At this rate Julia won't be PM by the end of the month , once Shorten pulls the pin on his support

Why would the Coalition pull any policies at this stage ?? The election is still three months away and the Govt is self imploding

They just need to shut their mouths and let the Labour party do all the work for them

I'm not knocking the Labour Party ,they have had some good policies and ideas , but haven't thought out how to carry them out and to control what was happening on the fringes and then when something has gone wrong have handled it badly (NBN ,Refugees etc etc etc etc)

LCA , what do you people expect the Australian voters to do ?? They have seen most policies fail , back stabbed one of the most popular PM's and the states and territories politics for Labour has been an abysmal failure

I'm not an Abbott fan ,have said so on numerous occasions . This would be the 2 worst candidates for PM we have had standing against each other in the history of Australian politics
