I had a friend ask me Saturday morn to put her $20 on the libs for her. She got $5.50. Two hours later they were $7.50. The bookies and polls are no longer good indicators.

Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon is 2 dollar favourite on TAB to win in 2020. Guess that means he’s losing ?

Think you may have misread. Didn't say they were always wrong, just that they're not good indicators one way or the other.

There are 6 democrats in the market and once they work out who will be their nominee, they will start at $1.60 or less

That’s right. The only reason he’s so short is because he will be the Republican mominee. The Dem nominee will be favourite I think. At least Biden would be. But as we’re saying, odds are seemingly meaningless.

I actually think the next ALP leader could be blessed because the world economy will probably be in a bad way because of the trade war which is constantly escalating.If the unthinkable happens and war breaks out between USA and Iran it will get even worse.
It may be fortuitous in some ways to be in opposition rather than in government as you dont have to make the decisions.

Thank God the silent majority finally stood up to this left wing green rubbish and stabilized our government for the next 3 years. I don't know where the labour party go now because they are full of looneys like Penny Wong (isn't that a pun) and thankfully the liberals are now rid of people like that idiot Pyne (he was a Pain not a Pyne).
I make these comments as a Labor voter all my life as well as my father being a labor voter all his life BUT you have to change when this party has gone so far left that Bob Brown would have been driving them around canberra with an electric car with a long extension cord for the next 3 years.
Now i hope we have the sense to look into the Folau free speech issue and get our rights especially in christianity turned around from these minority big mouths.

Labor will not have the benefit of Abbott and Pine shooting their own party in the foot every five minutes. Personally not to fussed either way with the two major parties as they are both basically conservative governments but Iam over the moon with Abbott’s defeat and as I said I think the Libs will get more advantage out of his defeat than labor

The ALP might be laughing today about Abbott but down the track they will realise there main wiping boy is no longer there .. while Abbott is either the American ambassador or the Aussie High commissioner in the uk I know who will be smiling .

I would agree with that, i have always maintained that i dont believe a word from the LNP and barely a word from Labor.I am sure most politicians go into politics with the best of intentions but when they get to parliament reality sets in
