this subject comes back again and again, it reminds me of that mangers fad on "how to show the results quickly" e.g. retrench, hire (expensive) consultants, increase salaries to the top management, rearrange the office desks and partitions etc.OK, that's a new one - it's the supporters fault.
No, it doesn't allude to that at all. I have never suggested it wasn't beneficial. It certainly isn't noteworthy when it comes to the on-field performances.
You are a liar, and suggested that I would rather the club be in debt.
Your specific words are right there: "So you'd rather we were in debt eh?"
I'd rather we were winning football games.
All useless measures that cannot achieve anything, but are used as a good to "cover your ass first" that shows that "we do something".
IMHO, the old "if you cannot stand the heat, get out of the kitchen", before trying to convince everyone that it is too hot!
It looks like some people are like "if I am not happy with the club everyone must be unhappy, so lets destroy the club", and everyone who does not think as ME is irrelevant and against the best interest of the club!
The Tigers and Magpies already played a part in this NRL farce (1999), and there are plenty of other clubs that shall be sacrificed for the "good of the game"!
The NRL shall better spend their efforts to drastically improve the referring of the games!
