Poor Bellamy - How about the Tigers?

Unless something changes some clubs will go to the wall.

I really think this is the NRL's plan for reducing sydney teams. They've already said they won't financially help out clubs that get into trouble anymore.

So,where can we get some paper bags of our own?

Where can we get our choice of corporate sponsors?

Where can we get lots of money from the NRL?

Where can we get our very own, brand new stadium?

Where can we get a heap more members/fans?

Now, let me think.

Cameron is going to Cowboys or Titans.
Queensland boy wants to be home.

If a Sydney Club offered a mill a year don't know how homesick he'd be…

Why would you feel sorry for the bloke who introduced into the NRL
chicken wing tackle, grapple tackle, crusher tackle, wrestling.

You forgot the cannonball

“They go to clubs who don’t do any development and just recruit.
>
“It irks me, especially with Cameron, that we got him as a 17-year-old and everyone’s coming in with their chequebooks and he might be going.”

preaching to the choir, it's only something supporters from a variety of different clubs have been saying for decades.

Melbourne Storm do not sign superstars - They develop them.

Roosters sign the best players from other teams.

I for one can see a very big difference in the two approaches.

So it's okay for them to sneak into town the night before a game and sign our winger?

Yes.

Our winger wasnt a super star just a good player on the fringe of first grade.

See the difference.

Yeah Striker you are correct again, never wrong.

Classic Pot calling the kettle black
Has no problem signing players from other clubs
On the other han we are all sick of the roosters
Plastic bags were banned now time for paper bags to be banned
It's time the roosters get plucked

Didn't the chooks bring in their own auditor? What ever became of that?

And what if Munster doesn't want to stay at Melbourne and he actually wants to shop around, will Melbourne still want compensation??

Is that who he is? That explains a lot.

Bellamy is right I can’t remember the last big name player they recruited. JAC, Koro, Curtis Scott, Slater, Cronk, Smith, NAS, Hoffman, Chambers, Vunivalu, Widdop, Bromwich, Kaufusi, Sika Manu, Blair, Brett White, Jeremy Smith, Inglis, Folau. The list goes on you have to respect greatness. They got done rotting the cap to retain their players not to poach other teams players. Bellamy is a gun.

I dont have a problem with Munster testing his value
He is entitled to do that
If he decides to leave that's totally up to him
I just cant stand all the top clubs who continually stock pile the best the nrl has to offer
Maybe it will end up like union
State v state
I would love to see all the old teams back
I would still follow the tigers

In their rorting era (2006-2009) the only real megastar they brought to the club was Mick Crocker. The majority of their other gun players debuted at the Storm. Their cheating was just a means of retaining these players. Not saying it's right, but it shouldn't be a knock against the clubs ability to develop a player.
