1) We woon -Ugly as it was we won - 22 points (last yr we had 28 at end of season and missed finals by 1 point)
2) Wade McKinnons positional play - I think he took a knock but is great to see a real Fullback, also has support play
3) Fifita's Return - The boy is big, strong, hard to put down and throws players off him - work on line speed/running from depth and he wil become a great prop.

The boys are sitting 3rd and still have a lot on improvements in them - cross your fingers that they straighten up real soon and we will go a long way

Defence. Enough said. Two, three times in the second half we showed attention to detail in defence where points could've been conceded. Big thumbs up here.

never gave up. defended very well, especially close to the try line..
great to see Liam Fulton go well after his time out of the team.
whilst it may not have been a dominant razzle dazzle display, it was a win.
one which will keep the team, just ahead of the bunch behind.
one step closer to the elusive finals berth.

Defence, defence and more defence. The defence has kept us in the comp for the last few weeks. All credit to Royce Simmons (he is the defence coach right?). Dropped balls, well it was the boys' fault but Phil Gould just wouldn't stop criticising the Tigers. Anyways, the defence is the best part of our game now and the attack is completely gone!

1\. The Tigers supporters in Brisbane - even heard a Tigers chant during the second half. It must have been awfully miserable for about 70 minutes. Well done brissy Tigers.
2\. We won - another ugly win, which in the past years we would have lost.
3\. Farah ignored Benji's plea for a grubber (chuckle), and won us the game. I don't know why I think that is a positive, but I do.
4\. The excitement in the sheds afterwards.

We won there isn't much to get excited about after that

Mate the away supporters bay was awesome, we were sure feeding into those broncos fans after they had been on their high horse for 30 odd mins straight…

Absolutely awesome im still waiting for my voice to come back... :sign:

This is a great side.

One of the key aspects of a great side is to win when you are not playing well. Not everything went to plan last night. Too much time with the opposition in our quarter and too much possession turned over, but we hung in there. In the past this is one of the games we would have lost. We defended well to keep them out and give us a chance. It was only in the last 10 minutes that we had repeat sets in the opposition’s quarter and guess what, we scored and won in the last minutes of the game. How many times has that happened to us in the past by teams who hung in there? We were then told how great a team they were to do that and beat us at the death. Well we did it last night and won.

This is a great Wests Tigers team.

What a rush at the end of the game, being there, not a pretty win, but a wins a wins a win. Great being in the Tigers Supporters bay and seeing the Brisbane supporters leaving before the end of the game. There is no better feeling than beating that mob at home, and shutting them up, regardless of the margin or how unconvincing the win was.

1\. Our defense. We kept them to two tries, despite our poor ball handling giving them all the possession.
2\. Phil Gould's backflip. Loved hearing Gus nail the Tigers (albeit rightfully,) for 70 minutes only to praise Farah and the Tigers for their try at the death.
3\. Farah finding his feet again
4\. We're one week closer to getting Robbie Lui back.

we should be glad that the boys didnt throw in the towel once things got too tough
im so glad we are able to grind out games!

In prior years we would look back on a season and reflect by saying
"we lost this game by 2 points, if only we won that game when they had their players out"

This year we have won those games. In fact winning games by playing poorly is a lot better to take that losing games we played well in.

Nothing to complain about.

Gettin gthe two point & Heighno emptying an esky on himself in the team song

They were leaving before the end of the game? Wow, they still had a chance to win in the final seconds!
