Potential 2013 teams

Just to get our minds off other things and to add more speculation etc etc:
Sorry if there is another thread about this.
Going off what we have ATM
1\. Tedesco
2\. Ryan
3\. Thompson (worth a trial over Aysh - has strength but not sure about speed)
4\. Lawrence
5\. Koroibete
6\. ??
7\. ??
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Fulton
12\. Pettybourne/BMM
13\. Heighington

14\. Sironen (utility)
15\. Moors
16\. Blair - impact (hopefully!) may benefit from shorter bursts of playing time
17\. BMM/Pettybourne

Still leaves Anasta and Benji in the halves.
I think that team can cater for injuries relatively easy as well. 3 kicking options and potentially 4 with Siro off bench (double what we currently are at full strength!)
Not sure about Bell
Aysh/Moltzen/Utai all gone (not sure about Utai but good teams know how to exploit him defensively).
Obviously it's all speculation but I guess we can dream while everything is in shambles and we have new recruits coming in.

Agree with you on Utai, surprised me it took until round 25 to see some high balls go his way too.

We already have made the buys for 2013, but with Anasta steering us around from 7, tell me who else can play 7?? We need 1 more front rower, hopefully Groat will progress well over the offseason and 1 more centre, perhaps David Nofoaluma may step up.

I ignore anyone who plays for BRET while Tim sheens still coaches. I though we would have seen a lot more of Tim Simona after his great start two years ago.

I don't buy into the Utai as a utility role, he is a winger, a good one, but terrible defender.

I think the two best utilities in our future is Moltzen and Sironen.

X 2 although i double siro will be ready for the start i hope w ensign kite also

2.Koroibette - hes a must
3.Lawrence - it depends on form,this year hes been as bad as ayshford imo so he should be on notice
4.Ryan - best player this year

7.Miller - only if he is still with us
8.Woods - great season hes a must
9.Farah - the real star in this team
10.KG - been off and on but still deserves to start
11.Anasta
12.Moors - needs more time he was very damaging vs the storm
13.Fulton - been great all year a must

14.Ayshford - as a forward ,hes hard running so hes the type we need of the bench
15.Pettybourne
16.Heighnington - work horse of the bench
17.Murdoch - hard running prop/2nd rower

Where is Benji in this team?
 
Agree with Underdog.
I think Sirro will develop into a good halves player. Play him at 7 though and move Benji back to 6.

We thought we had a stacked side in 2012

If it isn't coached properly or doesn't meld into a side they will still miss the Eight and finish way down

I really have an awful feeling we will finish bottom 4 in 2013

This is my line up that I think is realistic based on recent news, and which I think is also good

Probably ditch one of the bench for a front rower. Cashman?
 
I'm gonna have a crack and my team is a little left field
1.Lawernce (it worked for Inglis & Lawence hasn't found space in the centers for 2 seasons)
2.Koriebete
3.Nofaluma ( might be a gamble defensively but I think these two can form lethal combo on the left edge)
4.Ayshford ( willing to give him another chance
5.Ryan ( solid in the centers and fullback but wing is his best position
6.Sironen ( only if fully fit I think he looked the best partner for Marshall)
7.Marshall (probably the only fan of Benji int the 7 but Farah must be hooker for it to work)
8.Woods
9.Farah
10.Galloway
11.Blair(give him a spell during the game
12\. Fulton
13.Anasta( ball playing lock take pressure off Marshall &Farah especially in kicking)
