Potter interested in WT coaching position

Would rather they go for Potter than someone like Parish, Taylor or even Brown tbh. Either Folkes, Potter or Anderson will do me. Will need to get in before the Warriors Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon us, but maybe having to live in NZ and travel back and forth every second week would turn some of them off.

Chris Anderson? Certainly hope not. Folkes is too biased towards fitness and less so in attack. Surely we would be the first option for any coach looking for a club when compared with the Warriors.

I'm could live with Folkes, and maybe ANderson. Folkes by the end at the doggies was struggling, he has had assistant positions since and IM sure has added value, but not sure he is the anwser. he does not scare m, but does not excite me.
ANderson is a few years out of the game as well, and said that he feels first grade coaching is behind him, this concerns me, once again I think he will be able to do a job, but fails to excite.

I think Potter's fairly consistent efforts overseas auger well for an NRL career.

Of the assistant coaches in the mix only Walters and Dymock would be acceptable to me, but they hold the reverse risk, having no head coach experience. Both represent the unknown to me, could be great or fail, but would be happy enough if they get a crack

I thought of Potter the moment I read that he had turned his back on the Super League. If he wants the job I say lets give it to him.

Potter and Folkes would be a great team, and they would grow the team , benji needs new direction and look what Ricky done to robbie , so sign them now :sign: :sign:

Of course they all seem to specialise as either an attack or defence Coach. Eg Walters ; attack..Folkes ; defence…Sheens ; attack

I dont know what they all specialise in but whatever it is they will bring a couple of mates to help in what they dont do..

Can you be too biased towards fitness? Our team looked out on their feet 20 minutes into matches this year and their mental edge has roughly the same lifespan. Why is it that we could close out the big games, play 80 minutes and match bigger teams in the two years that Folkes was here? I'm not suggesting that Folkes is entirely responsible for this, but the whole side looked so much flatter this year, and that doesn't fall back losing Lui at halfback during the off season or Tedesco going down 30 minutes into round one.

Hard to believe we havent sounded him out.
What sort of research is this sub committee led by Humpty doing?
Yellow Pages?
"Hey Steve…yep....its another bus company"

Bradford Stripped 6 points for going into administration?? Geez that's rough on the players !

Yep,even in the games they won it was a laboured victory, just no spark or slickness to the side especially the Forwards. No leaks as yet on who's favoured to get the coaches job so reports that they were going to stick with Sheens for another year before the Beau/Heino uproar appears correct, the Board appears to be totally unprepared to appoint a new Coach.

There is something that tells me that Matt Parish is totally unsuitable as 2013 Tigers Coach. I must admit that all I have seen of him was on Manly's Channel nine games when he would walk around in the dressing room at half time with a lap top computer and point out to a player which space he should have run at in the firts half. I know that Alan Jones recommended him but how good a rugby league judge is he? It seems to me that if Tigers are after Parish they are shopping at K Mart instead of David Jones . They will save money now but pay very dearly for it later.

I watched a few interviews with Potter on YouTube about Bradford going into administration. I was impressed with how he spoke. Seems like a no nonsense sort of bloke ago doesn't tolerate any crap. Just what we need IMO.

The concerning thin about this all is that Walters nor potter ha heard from the tigers, was it only parish they had spoken too??
The first post on this subject re Potter saying he is interested in the job, sounded like an 'application for the position' and it sounds like he would be a fantastic coach for us, so I do hope the club is interested in him :bulb:
