Potter re-signing tonight/tomorrow

And, if it's not true, Potter's manager should just send the comments here to the Board as evidence that the supporter base are, overwhelmingly, right behind Potter as our coach. I also hope he gets the contract extension he deserves.

Give him a 2 year extension. He has transformed our pack and bench into a more formidable outfit,if we can pick up some decent backs i will be well satisfied

1 year with an optional 1 year. Second year triggered on performance only. Good news some stability. What's the media going to make up next.

This is what I'd give him. Seriously, we've over-performed this year and the guy deserves another year or two to finish what he started. If we go backwards, then we can arsehole him. You don't sack a bloke when he's taking you forward though.

And massive LOL's at Irvine, get that up ya!

The right and respectful thing to do. Not only does GM reply on social media, he loves reading it to. Good boy, a step in the right direction to holding onto CEO.

Tigers have improved this year to a level I didn't think we'd get to. Big wins over some of the top teams shows that we have the talent and are well drilled. Some mixed performances around the middle of the season was inevitable was the amount of young players in the side. As the young guys gain experience we will be one of the sides to start climbing the ladder as others slip down, ie Melbourne.

I would like to see a two year contract with an option to let us see what this team that Mick is building looks like. Injuries to some of our best players have interrupted his plans the last two years.

I really hope this is true but it's a bit strange that there is no mention of it anywhere else.

I think he deserves at least a 2 year extension, possibly with the option for a third. As a few have said we need the stability and a 1 year extension will only have us with all the same speculation next year.

3 yr contract would be good

I agree, if we only sign him for one year then we go through all this crap again next year,

If we are going to do it, then commit to a timeframe and stick to it. Chance for the board to show some credibility.

If Potter signs, Irvine please go and join Ricky Stupid in Canberra. You bag everything, answer nothing. Stupids style will suit you.

I completely disagree. 2 years minimum. Reason being,if we get hit with mass injuries - again, then sure as shyt, out come the knives. Give the guy some stability and confidence!

what I would love to know , but I doubt we ever will. did potter change the way he was playing the game to a more positive approach knowing that the his job was on the line. really we have not played that way at all this season and please don't say its because of injuries or some other B.S, what we seen on sunday was a completely different way to what potter said he would play on joining. so if that's what he can come up with not just for a one off game but week in week out yes resign him BUTS LETS SEE HOW IT UNFOLDS FOR 2-3 WEEKS 1ST.

makes you wonder. Bennet signs with Broncos then all of a sudden Potter gets offed a contract. Not thinking Bennet was ever coming to us but maybe Potter was Saints second choice?

Hopefully his signature is done soon… I don't like rumour but there is a strong one around re a club with heaps of $ .

that seemed almost identical to how we demolished manly and south sydney, just we had a few more things going for us like a very dry ground, refs decisions and luck.

we went straight up the middle, held the ball and executed well in attack. Although our set plays have obviously become a lot better.

I didn't hear it myself…but three separate people posted the same thing on WTS Facebook pages at about the same time last nite

I wish I heard it's context...just relating what I read elsewhere...hope it's true
