Potter

I never asked for him to be sacked.

Taylor is our coach now, all those who wanted change, you've made your bed you can lie in it.

There is something else at work here… Sheens was knifed, Potter castrated and now Taylor isnt being responded to.

Blaming the coach is the easy out. There is a real cancer eating us up, we have to find it and cut it out.

Whilst I agree with your statement about the coach being the easy way out, sometimes a team just doesn't respond to its coach. The boys were simply going through the motions tonight until that 15 min burst. It's been happening for a while too. JT has coached this team to become a bunch of robots scared almost to change from the plan. It's not good coaching and I honestly believe it is not the players fault this time.

Maybe the guy who wanted Potter sacked should be the one leaving.

There would be at least 14 of them still here.

Well if 13 of those that you seem to be alluding to are current players, then I bet they're stoked that they got their wish.

Be careful what you wish for right?

Maybe they should shut the hell up and have a go.

No heart no passion just turning up to play a game plan that no one understands.

Bring Potter back with free rain over his staff and team selection. We had one of the most aggressive forward packs in the comp under him last year.

Anyway all good to want but what's done is done now we need to look forward and show JT the door if he was that great we would have seen it by now just look at the saints how they turned it around after the first few rounds.

JT has had his chance and so have some of our players I want to see us play finals footy this year not in 2017…

Simple.

JT has a game plan that can be executed by players of experience and has to be done a certain way.

Potter had a game plan that was more tailored to the players abilities,

If potter had of been givin an entrance ala JT, money from the nrl, new board etc his game plan would of shone through as the right one for a young team learning football. They'll be good for JT's style in a few season, atm they need to just play to there abilities.

For all potter didnt do well most of our youngesters kept up there talent and skill increased in his two years.

on another note JT lost blair, thompson, fulton, austin who all played vital roles in the previous two years.

Tigers really need a man with some football personality and create something from what we have and I hope JT turns into that person.

There's no sign of it so far. I hope he changes quickly because atm, our halves are so neglected they don't have a clue how to finish a set in relation to field potion. They just put it high with no direction.

Does that sound like the kind of play the apparent 'next best things of the NRL' would naturally do or is Taylor actually telling them to do that?

to be fair, we had no choice with Thompson, Bodene wanted to go back home and Fults was let go for his health.

Blair was hardly setting the world on fire, appeared to have finally found his game when at prop, but otherwise we got bugger all out of him.

Austin is the only one.

The problem is the defensive structure that allows teams to target Moses & Brooks.Watching the game last night it is plain to see the players no longer believe in Taylor's system(Woods body language when Taylor was talking about it the press conference highlighted this) let alone themselves.

I know he was not out there last night and I know he is a stalwart but I can't help but feel like Farah is the centre of our problems.

Huge salary
Hard to please
Hugely influential
Difficult to coach
Conditioned to being a loser
Only seems to care about Origin

We need to look at life after Farah for the same reason the Sharks need rid of Gallen and the Panthers got rid of Lewis and Jennings. It's not because of skill it's because of mentality and influence.

I don't believe that Farah has the winning mentality to lead a team of prodigious young talents. We need leaders who know how to win and are used to winning. Powerful and influential winners not powerful and influential losers.

He is the constant here. Cherrington and Liddle can handle hooker, we need to sign influential winners from high performing clubs just to get winning culture into the club. They don't even need to be superstars, just players used to winning.

Either that or he needs a lot of influence himself and a gun sports psychologist.

I don't believe anyone would have the hide to even suggest that they ask Potter to come back.

After what was said on here last year by the Potter haters - suck it up!!!

But that's ok - we'll serve JT with the same barrage.
