Head Coach Mick Potter has exclusively revealed to Wests Tigers Members one change to this week’s side ahead of the full team announcement later this afternoon.
Tim Simona has been ruled out of Saturday’s match with a knee injury, which will see Cory Paterson start in his place at centre.
Paterson returned from a finger injury sustained back in Round 10 last week, playing 48 minutes against the Cowboys from the interchange bench.
Joining the Wests Tigers this year from Hull KR, Paterson has played a total of 93 NRL games through previous stints with Newcastle and North Queensland.
Hear what Potter had to say about the change, plus an exclusive preview of the Roosters clash, in the video above.
Stay tuned for the full team announcement later this afternoon on [www.weststigers.com.au](http://www.weststigers.com.au)

Awesome another backrower in the centres

Here is a tip for next year - recruit for better depth and select players in their best positions.
I am, like everyone else, sick of seeing backrowers playing in the centres.
They make bad choices in defence and are not quick enough to slide across to cover their wingers. They also give nothing in attack unless they just run hard into a hole or edge shoulder.

Potter needs to look at his squad and make some pretty smart recruitment purchases next year or he will be gone before the first 5 rounds if he gets another contract.

Maybe Simona should not have played last week. He looked injured from early on in the game. There is definitely something very wrong with our medical treatment of injuries, or is it our training methods. Any way something has to be done about it or we won't have really have a competitive team for the next few years.

Maybe its time to introduce the mercy rule.
At what stage do the NRL step in and assist sides that are absolutely decimated by injuries.
This could be s long night
