Confidence is an important thing in this game. Sending a decent squad will only help us long term and only help us this season.

Would be great for players like Talau and Simpkins to play along side a couple of big names and win a couple of games.

I don’t know mate. How many times have you seen rubbish trial form then a blistering start to the season. It’s a long year ahead. Cotton wool till mid March where possible I reckon. But your view is not without merit

Just feel this season is a bit different, we need some confidence. Would hate to see any serious injury though.

The team is gonna be average id say

It won’t look as good as the broncos or panthers squad. Rabbitohs will have a gun team as well and we have to play them. Would be good to see us actually make the finals of it for the first time.

Just saw a few teams announced on IG.
Alot looking strong.

Cowboys, Penrith... even titans are close to full strength.

Hopefully guys like Reece Hoffman, Dylan smith and Zac cini all go and carve it up. Cory Thompson would go good too, Garner and the Leilua brothers as well

We'll probably name the ISC team.

Madge said he wasn't going over there to muck around. I think it will be mix of experience and youth.

Some strong teams coming in.

Be good if we can beat the bunnys.

Bunnies will be the team to beat. They’ve got plenty of quality outside backs, plus guys like Cook and Murray.

Broncos have got a very strong team.

We will be ok, I doubt we can win it but we have some players who will be handy.

ok at Liverpool playing an under 23’s side in the FA cup. They are going for the bigger prize. So should we. They’re will be injuries in this tournament.

We are no Liverpool. No Roosters, No storm....

We as a club are no where near the bigger prize just yet, in a season or perhaps two, I would be almost in total agreement with your statement.

The honest truth is apart from 2005 (15 years ago) where we were a fairy-tale we have struggled to fulfill potential and straggled to be anywhere near a 1st choice / aspirational destination fort the top echelon of players.


We need positive momentum, to over achieve, to be a club on the UP. The 9s is indeed mickey mouse but for me its a start and our young squad would do better with confidence that a few wins or a title can bring.

Based on a handful of photos, Madge is sending our lighter more mobile forwards and bigger backs.

Good to see the boys at St Gregs. I thought Gregs had cut us off and had an arrangement with either another club (in QLD) or Union?

I read that the NRL will give a $1m bonus to any team who wins the 9s AND the NRL gramd final. Pretty silly I thought, very unlikely that'll be an incentive for any team before the nines are played, and after they are played the winner is already trying to win the GF.
