Our depth is perhaps not as good as we think it is but Garner has to go after today and BJ, well yeah, he hasn't been good for at least 18 months or longer.

Whatever side is picked, I hope Garner is missing. He just doesn't show any spark. As far as Mbye is concerned, he seems to be able to jag a 1st grade spot wherever he goes. Hope it is only 14 at best in the future.

the only issue I have is who lines up in the back row on the right. Garner cannot be there. Chee-Kam cannot be there. they played Tuki in the middle for Wests today and Tuilagi is a development player. our depth is far better this year, but man, it sucks in the back row. come back soon Shawn.

I’m a fan of Twal but playing 13 isn’t his position. Tbh I reckon LL should be playing there. But I’m not sure on our edge forwards. MCK could be the answer and obviously Blore. Tallagui and Simpkins are they both in the mix too. Mikaele and Packer probably not our best rotational front rowers.

Not sure if anyone noticed but Madge experimented with Talau in the back row today. From the 60th to 70th minute he played right back row when Garner went off. At the 70th minute he played left back row with Luci moving to lock. Talau looked good on the right and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him get the nod over Garner next week.

I said this last year. There is no way we can have AJ and Talau start in the same team.

AJ is good for 3-4 errors per game, and Talau makes 2-3. In a team that severely lacks discipline and brains, we can't have both.

Pick one, I'd pick Talau just. Mansour or Johnstone would have walked into that spot.

Probably too early to be trying this, but maybe move Joffa to Garner's spot once Musgrove is back.

Joffa is better in the middle, but it might be better for the team if he's out there.

With Blore & Musgrove injured we have limited forward options atm.

Tuki & Tuli debut against the roosters wouldn’t be wise they are still raw & need some runs in the legs.

Garner seems to only have 1 stint in him. As soon as he has a break or comes back from half time he’s rubbish.

Probably gets another shot as it was the first game.

I agree as I have said before I think hes big enough and strong enough for 2nd row. He has good ball skills also which is also a big plus
