Press Conference after Round 2

I agree, kids that are learning english have a better vocabulary than a lot of these guys. I don't want to hear that shy crap either ..they're on camera and being photographed constantly. The problem is, is that the players chose who they wanted to be captain(s), the inmates are essentialy running the asylum.
The club needs to maintain its resolve and seize / regain control of the asylum if at all possible.

At one stage when Newcastle led 18 nil I was waiting for us to make a huge come back to win it 25-18, but something went wrong.

Over to you @westTAHger.
Yes I was waiting for it to happen.
Alas once again, wests tigers left us disillusioned.

But there is hope for the next game:
Hope they turn up to play.
Hop they tackle with vigour.
Hope they kick deep to the corners on 5th tackle.

"lack of preparation".. when the journo came back with the follow up, he knew it was game over.
How noticeable was that comment. That was an oh shit moment for me instantly. Ken didn’t even recognise what he said and then tried to backtrack once the journo called questioned him about what he meant by it.

In Madge’s defence it might be hard to come up with something different each presser when your team play the same crap way every game. You can’t expect him to burn them too much because he still has to get them up for training and the next game.
As for Ken, he struggled with expressing himself but eventually tried to clarify the lack of preparation as being mental or attitude/ mindset.
I reckon he meant that once the sides were finalised and Klemmer was out following the Ponga out, the room probably thought they only had to go through the motions.

I don't think they can use that excuse any more. How many times have we had our pants pulled down when playing against understrength teams missing key players? It happens a couple of times per season without fail. You'd think these slow-learners would be up to speed with that fact by now and just play hard, competitive footy regardless of who the opposition have running out there on game day.

The only positive to a crap start to the season is that teams haven’t scored more than 30 points against us
26-14 against storm
26-4 against knights
My prediction this week is that we will lose to the warriors 26-20 🤣

Defence is improving on 16 points conceded today 😂

Bex should be reintroduced.

Remember some old ladies in the 70s with the blue rinse would swear by it.

They all seemed over 100 to me back then so they must have been doing something right. 🤣
