Just on twitter in the last half an hour, I've heard people saying benji is terrible, going to be slaughtered by Souths, the team is dumb, etc.

Just put this into perspective here. At half time, we were down to 15 men and lost our fullback before half time. A winger at fullback, a centre on the wing, a second rower in the centres, a hooker at halfback.

We are playing the 2nd best attacking unit in the competition. At their home ground.

And we concede 1 try, ONE try, until we lose another player and the system fails. We conceded 2 tries on counter attacks. We conceded 2 miracle one - on - one strips, and were involved in the most end to end game, metres wise, in the last 3 or 4 years.

If you guys aren't proud of that, then you are looking for negativity. Just forget about the prospects for the top 4/8, and just think for a second how much heart you just saw.

Yes, my first thoughts too.
While disappointed with the result, it was a gutsy effort in the 2nd half…very gutsy, but just not good enough.

hey bismark ,the cows were ordinary tonight so theres no persepective for mine .i couldnt give a stuff about being proud when im watching the semis minus the tigers .what was gutsy about playing that ordinary cows side.both sides would have got belted by a quality opposition.

Yeah show heart but the game was there to take as was pointed out the dogs lost players tackled the backsides off n come of on top. Coulda taken the 6/7 point LSD but that last try was dismal.

There attack for the first 15 minutes was best all year. It was the fastest game I've seen all year and we played it with 14 men basically.

Can't doubt the pride, but in the position we are in can't afford bad luck..

I also agree. The Cowboys really couldnt come up with much against a side who were out on their feet and still coming at them. It was a brave effort.

The heart was there but overall we played poor. The completion rate and kicking game in the second half was abysmal.

But the effort was there I don't doubt we wanted it but overall I'm not gonna be over the top about how good we are.

I agree- the Cowboys struggled to put us to bed, but I think Coach Henry was pulling the right reins. The team that controlled the ball better was always going to win that game

Mate we havent been a realistic chance of playing semi footy this year for at least 2 months now. What I saw tonight, besdies the attrocious ball control and defence, which is how we have played all season, was a team who didnt give up and tried. In my mind, we are already dead this year so this effort tonight is what I will focus on.

Plenty of ticker, bot possession favoured the Cowboys and the Tigers were just brain dead and out on their feet at the end. Recovering from that game, and the trip home will be tough. I expect they'll be flat against Souths.

I hope you realise that the fallout from this game will be about how dangerous the Cowboys are. Some of those plays were magical tonight.

I'm proud of that effort. I thought some of them out there were just huge. Ioesfa was something else. Woods was great. Fulton played really well.

Benji was terrible and that really gets me going. Robbie went to sleep in the second half and stuffed up however Benji was 10 times worse. Our two best players basically let us down and the rest of the team played like demons.

What a load of crap! People are disappointed because we were supposed to be a weapon of a team but we have gone backwards in one direction, our key players pathetic, to many injuries???? Seriously our fitness conditioning staff need to give answers., our coach and his swapping and changing??? We honestly do not deserve to be in the 8 and we need to clean out rubbish.

Seriously Joel Reddy is rubbish!…what a terrible defender he is. All teams are attacking down his side of the wing and coming up with the goods. Needs to be dropped ASAP. Apart from him a gallant effort considering injuries
