I think it’s fair to say that next week is do or die for the season. That has to be the players attitude.

Nah not at all a given . I’m not even saying it will happen , I’m just saying there’s no reason it can’t . I reckon those boos at halftime last week rattled the team . I’ve never ever seen Leichhardt do that , to that deafening roar . It was near on unanimous.
It shouldn’t take things like that ,but sometimes , it does take things like that . I think people like AD , Jofa , Brooks and nofa , , felt true shame last Sunday .

So maybe , not likely , but maybe , those Boos , will be a catalyst for something good . History says , I’m delusional, but you never know .

I'll be honest and Im probably in the minority.

As I mentioned after last weeks Cowboys flogging, I didnt watch the game, but did see highlights today.

I wont be watching this mob for some time, and the taste of what they served up in the Tommy tribute match will be with me for a long time. One single game after that, evern if it was a complete 80 effort game means little.

You dont cheat on your missus last week and all is forgiven because you bought flowers this week. Its totally unacceptable and this current mob need to work hard, for a long time, to earn my trust. As a member, I have the right to hold that view.

It will be some time before I watch this group again with any excitement. Some time indeed.

Personally, my thoughts are the same..

Everyone I knew, friends, family and work colleagues all said that we should have won the game against Cowboys..

Last week vsing the Rabbits, personally I didnt have much emotion - even though it had everything.

Really, if we lose this week - it'll be a nail in the coffin, but then again, stranger things can happen in a season.. hoping to win 7 on the trot..

Great effort, we play like that every game we make the top8.

Combinations can only get better

I'm a little shattered as are others on the forum. But we must remember this is a side with 7 new players, we should not expect miricales. As you point out , it's all about combinations, the spine is new, the forward pack is good, and will get better and the backline is our main problem, but at least showed a better defence last week. Realisticly we are building well, but 2022 should be our goal.

Still a lot of work to do to string some wins together and some people are pencilling us in for 6 or 7 in a row in the next few weeks. I’d take a win this weekend before looking at anything ahead of us
