Public transport to LO ?

There is trackwork between Campbelltown and the city. no trains via East Hills…..No trains between Liverpool and Campbelltown. Channel 9 seems a more appropriate option. We were intially due to play this game at C'town.

Just drive. There is plenty of parking around LO.

Dunno why eveyone suggests the long walk option…

440 bus from central drops you at the end of mary St, 5 min walk instead of 25.

Errrrrrrr,cos its part of the match day ritual that we tiger fans have been doing for a thousand years.

That's right, Simon. Shame that the walk back to the BLC won't be happening again for a couple of years - those who have never made that walk don't know what they're missing!!

Best place used to be behind Orange Grove Public but they closed access to the grass. Really depends on how early you get there. You can part with the $10 or whatever it is to park at the school (Orange Grove Public on Balmain Road) or the later you get there the harder it gets. Personally I'd suggest looking for spots in Lilyfield Rd and the back streets around there - you may walk a bit longer but the getaway is a lot easier.

Yes. And two things on this subject.

1 - When you say "resident" you really need to be a local resident and by local I mean in a few hundred metres of the spot. I used to live at the other end of Catherine St and my permit was no good for the areas near LO.

2 - Leichhardt Council Rangers DO come out on game days, they will give you a ticket and it will not be nice.

Train to town hall Bus from Druitt Street (QVB) Catch: 500, 506, 518, 520, 510 etc. Just about anything with a 5XX will go past tigers leagues. After 10 min, jump off at Victoria and Darling Roads and follow the crowd to the stadium. A Taxi from Town Hall will also cost about $15

Long? mmm… but I reckon after a train trip and a bus trip stretching your legs just seems like a good option. You'll probably get there before the bus arrives anyway.
