If you wanna get pedantic theres three tigers too
The Wests Tiger on the chest
The Balmain tiger on the back of the neck
Then theres the word TIGERS in the logo

Its not pedantic, our logo is a tiger, not a magpie. There are more magpies on the jersey than tigers. P.S. it says "wests tigers" not just "tigers".

Hey Fraze, the restocking comes down to ultimately having to commit to minimum orders to purchase and also the timing of the delivery. It is a complicated balance between ordering enough initially and not ordering too much that you end up with over stock that you have to sell at a discounted or below cost rate. If we overstock the issue gets compounded when the next years new tracksuits don't sell as well because we are trying to clear this years stock. By the time the new delivery was due to come in we would be heading towards the warmer months so made the call to let the line run out and plan for next years - this decision is in consultation with the apparel provider as well as they assess what they can sell into general retail. if they can sell some in general retail then our minimum orders and risk are reduced. I hope this make sense as it is a tricky balance to negotiate.

It's very disappointing Shaun. To have an item of merch that sells out in a week or two and doesn't get replenished. For a club in dire need of funds this was a license to print cash. Any leftovers could have easily been sold in retail. Thousands of people trying to get their hands on them.

Yet another poor decision made by a club run by amateurs.

There is a reason we're the worst club in the NRL at absolutely everything, both on and off the field.

I think it is bigger in the scheme of things mate. Someone has made a concious decision to have more magpies than tigers on a wests tigers jersey. It isnt a coincidence.

The two heritage logos should be it. The Magpies are dead (as is Balmain), everyone should accept it.

I didn't realised there were 3 magpies on the jersey. Is that legit? That MUST change next season. Are we the magpies or the wests tigers?

There certainly are: one one each sleeve and one on the neck, alongside the Balmain tiger, and one only Wests Tigers NRL logo. It's absurd

Interesting you say Magpies are dead as in logo and then say Balmain as in district rather than logo is dead. Many have made that subtle difference. What happens if we get Wests Campbelltown back in the composition fold?

Why are we talking about logos? Its not going to help us on the field and if this kind of trivial stuff is what the debenture holders care about, you won't get them to step away if you threaten it.

According to Lee, the board wasted too much time on this rubbish. Lets not do the same. While everyone is right that its silly to have 3 magpies, its not important.

We desperately need one singular change.

HBG in its current form must go. All the other crap we all go on about are just symptoms of ownership failure.

When a GP assesses a patient, they identify symptoms so they can find a common cause. Literally 99% of fans realise that the disease linking our symptoms is HBG.

Since HBG blew up the independent board, caused Richo to go ( he was actually improving the place ) , have control of the WT board now , noting that we are again on a downward slide ,wondering who they are going to blame / sack this year, asking for a friend .

I find it even more absurd that apparently there was too much orange on the jersey, which contributed to the sacking of Barry O’Farrell. Whilst he was reappointed, it just goes to show how ignorant HBG are.

The Balmain clique nitpick and don't respect Magpies ever. Im not advocating for Magpies ascension and remain supporting Wests Tigers and Magpies in reserve grade but i do wonder whether a totally new brand different from Tiger or Magpie would stop the clashes. Also id like to see plans to merge Rozelle and Ashfield into 1 x inner city club facility and expand Campbelltown as SW facility. One ground in inner west for the NRL team and Campbelltown is the home of KOE and lower grades with the COE being developed there for them.

This thread become immature pretty fast essentially now just Shaun defending himself from being called a HBG puppet.

Given the site has a CEO of the club bothering to comment here might I suggest the owner and mods come up with a process for SM to comment on main issues, rather tham SM apologising that he cannot respond to each comment
