I wish to discuss this in length,

Do you think Tuiaki will ever make a return?

nar i haven't seen his foot…
you got pics?

pretty grim answers, damn shame rly...

even if it was possible, he'd never ever be the same player, and it would be a shame to see him as a shadow of what he once was. Leave him where he is, and the memories in tact

Probably not, Demps, but then again miracles do happen. Of course, that depends on if Tuiaki wants to play again or not.

Two chances. Buckleys and none. It has been previously discussed that Tuiaki did regain good pace - in a straight line. But there's no cartilage left in his ankle, it's bone on bone and whenever he started doing lateral movement, that's when the problems began and he continually pulled up sore to the point where he could not walk properly. His ankle joint can no longer handle the pressure and no amount of surgery will fix it.

just found this..a lot of you have probably already seen it.
Thanks to Bonstonker for making it.
Thanks to Taniela for the awesome memories.
We love you mate.

Jus was wondering what the dude was up to….
Hope he's alright, such a shame what happened.

Would of been awesome to see LT on one side and TNT on the other.

Probably one of the biggest losses not only to the Tigers but to the NRL. Taniela was crippled at the peak of his powers in 2009 and I think he had the potential to be one of the most powerful, unstoppable wingers of the last 50 years. The guy had ample strenght, pace and passion and if it was not for that injury I could see him leading the top tryscorers list for another 2-3 years at least. Apart from his obvious power and skill he had a cult following amongst nearly all rugby league fans and he was the one bloke I genuinely got excited about, apart from Marshall and Farah, that could create something from absolutely nothing.

Such a shame because he could have done so much more, but looking at his highlight reel there from 2-3 years, MAN what a player!!!

I do believe TNT injury in 2009, eliminated any chance of wests-tigers being a force for a run to the finals for that year.
I say this because , the opposition were worried about his presence.
they had to contend with stopping a run away train.

Very disappointing result, the Tank was a great player to watch and would have added plenty of confidence to his team mates. I still remember him smashing souths the last time we beat them at the SCG. I hope life is being kind to him now.
