Just had an idea during the non footy season to keep us amused
I might need some help from someone who is a bit computer savvy though
Of running a Quote of the Month award which can get you rep points just for a laugh
Maybe we vote on what is decided to be the best 10 "Quotes of the month " from different forum members
Anyway My first nomination is for Cunno
In the 3 word story he had Ennis "falling flat on his big ego"
Classic Still laughing
What are others thoughts ???

i still remember what ron burgandy said on this forum "now i know how jesus felt" lol

Yes that signature of Yossarian is a crack up.

Yeah, that's a good one. There's another one that cracks me up, can't remember whose signature it is. It's about Tim's team selections! Anyone know what I'm talking about?

There's been few pearlers:

Yoss on our season going the bender: "The people on the Poseidon Adventure didn't panic as much as some of you blokes."

Cunno on Ennis: "Ennis is the Koala of the NRL"

Smeg on Ricky Stuarts appointment as origin coach: "Stuart made his bed of un-polishable turds. Let him lay it and embrace the failure he knew so well at Cronulla again"

They're my pick.

Jais Tigez's comparison of Jamie Soward's goal kicking routine with a cat trying to poop in a litter tray would have to be up there  Still laugh every time I think about it!

Also like Stryker's sig with his wife's comment on teaching a man to fish etc

Good thread, Happy

Stryker's signature runs Yoss's close So very true as well
Is it MacDougalls that you are talking about Mrs T

YES! That line is brilliant, and was ever so true - think it was made regarding the Tigers/Doggies Game - I remember thinking something similar whilst watching the game, but the succinct nature of the post still gives me giggles today.

And I must admit, I love my sig - where a Yossarian post…. I think I feel like pos-repping that cheeky bugger for all the giggles it's given me.
