I hate both teams, but I'll say the Dogs, only because I am sick of reading about George bloody Piggins. Has flatly refused in the past to watch them, said he wouldn't go to a grand final etc etc. Now they've actually made one he's decked out in his colours, buried the hatchet with Crowe and PHaC and is going to the game. Very definition of a bandwagoner and I hope Souths lose just so I can see the heartbreak on that old bastards face.

He agreed to go because a large donation would be made to charity, can't really hold that against him.

Yeah, put a BS figure out there too thinking no one would meet it. Singo and TAB did it to give themselves a bit of PR and now ol' Georgie is railroaded into going.

Don't get me wrong, charities are getting some much needed funding, but it's not because Georgie has a good heart. He's a wounded ego.

How can people switch clubs , seriously ??

As far as I'm concerned you can get divorced 11 times , but you just don't switch clubs no matter what

He became a Souths supporter when it was announced that the club was merging the lower grades, around mid 2012\. I think he saw it as the club trying to cleanse itself of its Magpie heritage. He swears death on the club now. Yet, he's constantly commenting on things the club does. He reminds of a guy who gets dumped by his gf, tells people he's over her, yet can't stop talking about her. I think Souffs are his rebound team.

Let's face it, the Magpies are probably the closest thing to love that he's ever experienced, and probably ever will. He hasn't got much going for him in life apart from RL, UFO Bill or whatever his bloody name was and who's talking trash in the WWE so it's unsurprising he didn't handle the NSW Cup merger very well. If they win on the weekend I guarantee he'll be on LU carrying on and there'll be a shot at WT slipped in there somewhere.

I've been a Balmain fanatic, now Wests Tigers fanatic all my bloody life. My dad was born in Balmain.

The closest I could ever go against them was when Illawarra Steelers were playing. I was born and raised in Woonona a suburb of Wollongong. They were my second team. When St George took them over my sympathies diminished some what.
