Race to the Stadium

What was the point of that animated race to the Stadium on the screen at halftime? Did the one quarter of the crowd who were Roosters fans actually ring that number so many times that the Rooster won? When they said the mascots were going to race - I thought they were going to run across the ground or something.
 
It was rigged….Wests Tigers owned the WSFS crowd wise even in the Rorters reserved seat bays...hey Willow....
 
I was in the predominantly Roosters section and they were very vocal.

That race was a pure money grabber. I was expecting the actual mascots to race.

Exactly mate. And it was good to see the Roosters fans leave early too.
 
they had the same thing at anz when we played the bunnies. good way to make money i guess.
also, the crowd of 16,482 was not accurate. i dont think it was.
it loked a lot more packed, esp with the 2nd tier getting pretty full.
i thought there was at least 20,000+\
great day 4 the kids though with face painting n jumping castles etc.
 
I think the crowd number was right, the manly game if you went to it was certainly less people.
